Yep. Beat Philly and you are most likely the best team in the NFC and on your way to homefield with a 2 game lead in the East.

Lose the game and your in 2nd place in the East with 2 division home losses already.

It will take a win in a game where the opposing QB doesn't miss wide open receivers consistently for me. Given who is on the schedule, that could be in the NFC championship game or even the Super Bowl, so I'm all in!

Long time lurker with very few posts is my M.O. But I see that you have a very pessimistic view of the Cowboys, I do understand your hesitation, and I'm not calling you out, but do you have any positive feelings toward a team that I do believe you support? again I respect your ideas, but if you seem to have a negative vibe. correct me if I'm wrong, because I certainly don't want to paint a picture I know little about. Are you a Cowboys fan? irregardless, I respect your position, no hard blood, I'm easy going, just curious.

Patriots are the only team I would outright predict an L for us. And we can beat them if we're at our best

We have the best QB duo in the league, IMO. So that depth makes me feel good.
We have a nice group of RBs. Our rookie is tops in the league in yardage. Morris is a solid backup. DMC was 4th in yds last year. Dunbar is a solid change of pace guy.
Our WRs have stepped up, even without Dez. Beasley is having a great year. Williams has made strides. Butler has dones some nice things.
Witten is Witten. Swaim is coming along nicely. If Hannah comes back, our running game gets even more dominant.
Our OL is the best in football. Our right side is studly when running, and the left is very solid. In the pass game, Free is the one weakness.

The DL has slowly started getting more and more pressure on the QB. They have done a decent job of containing the run.
Our LBs have done ok, but I feel this is the weakest group of the defense. We need to add some youth and athleticism to this group.
Our DBs have improved leaps and bounds. I actually have confidence in this group for the first time in a very long time. They look like NFL DBs.

We have the best K in football. Our P is pretty darned good. Our LS is one of the best.

This team is fun to watch again. They are not only playing well, but winning. There is no selfish drama tearing the whole thing apart. I love it. Imagine how good the team will be once we take the training wheels off of Dak's bike. Having Romo there to help him has been outstanding.

Agree, you said it right, "this team is fun to watch again" .. it's been a while, but worth the wait. We are Relevant again.

I have felt the same way , but it could all fall apart when they bench dak.

I feel the Cowboys will end up going a lot further with Dak than they ever did with Romo. Not saying it's going to happen this year but certainly in the future. There's something cool, calm and collected about him that gives me a lot of hope. He doesn't get rattled, we saw that at Lambeau after tossing his only pick of the season. He bounced back with a 14 play scoring drive.

I've seen him make some throws in critical situations this season that Romo wouldn't have made at least earlier in his career. We have a real two-headed monster to look forward to with Dak and Zeke. If we can somehow build a defense that's even close to as good as we are offensively this team could turn into something special. We may already have something special at QB and RB.

They won't bench him unless his game starts to fall apart. If he keeps playing the way he is, Romo will never see the field this season or any season for the Cowboys unless Dak gets injured. I'm not concerned one bit that Dak will be benched if he keeps playing the way he is. Jerry is not about to screw what the team has going by making a QB change with us winning and Dak not only having a rookie of the year campaign but is in the running for league MVP. That's how great he's playing. He's having a better season than Romo had in 2014 up to this point.
