This is a different team

Can’t stand him, but the dude is legit! As for Booker, I hope the cat is a bad ***, punch you in the mouth type of player and until he faces an opponent like Carter I’m going to hold off on my opinion of him. We all got excited when the Boys drafted Mazi and we all know what he is about…….lol!!!!!
Bookers the real deal.

I tried telling folks who said this team sucks and is going 6-11. Team can’t run the ball, defense can’t stop the run and Dak sucks.

The loss sucks. They had em. Fortunately, this is the first game of the season and these bright spots have me feeling good going forward:

* Dak looks very mobile, strong and aware.
* The run game looked so much improved from recent years.
* The offensive line dominated IMHO. A few mental mistakes, but they didn’t get out physicaled.
* The defense actually made in game adjustments and clamped down on the run. Barkley only had 60 yards. Hurts was awesome on the ground though.
* The team overall looked prepared. First game of the season you know they’re going to be fired up and they were. But they played within themselves, not like that yahoo Carter, and kept the pressure on throughout the game.
* I saw toughness from the team. Dak making that TD saving tackle after the fumble is going to pay dividends within themselves locker room.
* Only 4 penalties.

Probably won’t shut up all the habitual critics but maybe some.

:starspin:

Sombody tell this guy we have 2025 and he should stop watching games from 2016.

Some folks don’t have the nads to take a position and instead ride the fence criticizing both sides.
Usually problems are complex and not only one-sided.

Whats more there is no need to take a position for one side. And its never a sign for guts or nads or whatever. No, in reality the oposite is the case. Especially in times like these. Being able to differ, to show that things are more complex takes a lot of guts just because there are so many idiots who will try to put you in a corner. Just because they are able to shout louder or have the more shocking way to say stuff. You can see it here in this forum when idiots start to call other people haters. Same stuff. Nothing new. Shout loud, defame others and usually there are enough other studpid people who will chime into the rhyme.

But all what you say is just dogmatic. And usually what people use who have their own interesst but need some blind followers to get what they want.

Just your opinion. I have mine.

I hope you're right, I remember seeing him for the first time in an Alabama game and he was a beast. Alabama's O-Line consisted of players that were bigger than most NFL Teams and for some reason this O-Line struggled at times to protect their QB. This is why I'm waiting to see Booker in action against several NFL teams before I anoint him as the next great Cowboy offensive lineman.

Opinions are fine.

Difference is. You FORCE your opinion on others and call them names when they dont agree with you.

You cant sit there and say "cant judge a team off of one bad game" and then when they look decent say "this entire 30 year history is irrelevant, this team is different"

You cant. It illogical.

Understand and you’re spot on. I’m a little pleased with Booker and his future here as you can see so I do believe he’ll be the next great offensive lineman behind Tyler Smith, Beebe and Guyton.

I don’t force anyone to do anything. I just point out the being a constant hater like yourself is a bad character trait. Whether you take the constructive criticism or not is up to you. Could care less but I’ll keep pointing the bad behavior out if you don’t.

* Dak looks very mobile

:starspin:
I appreciate that you are positive in most things but if you watch that game, especially with Hurts on the other side, and came away thinking that Dak looks mobile, you are dreaming. When he moves he looks like a broke down 40 year old desperately willing his body to get somewhere it does not want to go. I don't expect him to look like he did in 2016 but the decline in mobility is nothing short of staggering.

That right there is forcing your opinion.

Call me a hater all you want.

I don't quit on this team like you did.

Here is constructive criticism for you.

Don't bait people and then report them when they hurt your feelings due to your lack of critical thought or ability to have an honest, objective conversation.

LOL.

You quit because you were here doing what you are doing now talking about how great this team was, and how we were going to the Superbowl. Then the team went off the rails, and you bailed because you didnt want to keep getting told how wrong you were. By people who were telling you that the team wasnt good.

No one attacked you, you just couldnt handle being wrong.

I saw improvement in some areas, but this was ONE game only. I think the OL got lucky they didn’t have to deal with Jalen Carter this time around. The defense is still losing contain…Hurts continued to burn the defense on runs throughout the game. With Bland out and Diggs on a snap count, who is going to cover Nabors. And no scoring on the 4th quarter.

They played a lot better than I thought they would.

CeeDee sucked and 100% lost the game.

But moral victories are for losers.

You play to WIN the game!
As a very smart coach has said, I believe in moral victories, and they are important.
However, it is only a moral victory if it’s about the team buying in, believing they are on the right track, believing they can play with anyone, believing they are better than the media and some fans say they are. But most importantly, it is only a moral victory if the team goes on to play better and better and win games.

If the Cowboys are 4-2 a few weeks from now, they can definitely look back at the game they played against the Super Bowl champs on the road and declare it a moral victory that solidified and even built on morale and confidence. If the team doesn’t build upon their Philly performance, if they continue losing and are 1-5 or 2-4, then there is no moral victory.

Saying there are no moral victories is a cop out by people who want to say only wins and losses count, but there are good and bad losses, just as there are good and bad victories that impact the team going forward. But a moral victory cannot be determined by the stats or expectations or the scoreboard. The following weeks determine whether or not this was a moral victory, a performance to build upon.

The Giants often refer to their moral victory in the last game of the regular season when they lost to the Patriots 38-35. A few weeks later when they faced the heavily favored Patriots in the SB, they leaned on that moral victory for the upset.

In BOOKER we trust!!!!!!

when we show serious stones in the playoffs THEN you can claim culture change
Until then anyone using the first game we lost this season as proof of anything is a fool
