What are you talking about? If Zeke cuts outside, it is one on one, cutting inside he is putting more than one defender in position for a tackle. Are you as blind as Zeke?

How hard is it to understand that taking the inside allowed more than one defender to have a chance at him? The outside allowed for a one on one with a defender. Zeke can't make a defender miss in the open freakin' field? Seriously? What are we paying him for, third and shorts?

Big backs traditionally don't last a long time in the NFL. For every Jerome Bettis there are 25 Eddie Lacey's.
I am not suggesting Zeke is mega-sized (like Lacey) but he is definitely one of the biggest HBs in the league.
Other than not hitting the long runs, I think the rest of his game has actually improved.
Time will tell it terms of his longevity...

this post and all on EE being an issue is disturbing.. the first 3 games went pass heavy and didnt use zeke anywhere near his normal workload, he could have exploded on those defenses but we let Dak have the puff numbers against bad defenses, we get behind 18 and 21 points in two loses and all but abandon the run game,
Zeke is 120 yards and 2 tds behind the leader in rushing with 15 less carries, he sits at 6th in the league, yes not great but the entire offense being discombobulated especially the Oline run blocking, and hes somehow mailing it in or not paying hard.. utterly ridiculous..
hes the only back in the league with a bloated new contract that is performing even close to his old self..
Noone on offense is playing mistake free or up to their own standards and theres a reason but Zekes not bringing this team down , stop the idiotic comments.. EE will be fine by years end.. hes a threat and just because the passing offense cant take advantage of it for whatever reason, its not all on him..

I doubt it. It's really easy to play the what-ifs game. Look closer, the defender was playing the ball carrier not the blocker.... At most Zeke would have gotten a few extra yards.

You might want to look at how Larry Johnson's career went after 750 plus carries in two seasons. It took a big dive.

Most RBs tend to hit a fast decline after record high carries. Probably best for Zeke's future that his snaps have been inconsistent this year, he's already hobbling around in public.
