The front office was confident that they could waive and release them knowing not a single team would claim or sign them after their cuts so that they'd end up on the practice squad....

Lmao
I was going to post the same thing.

I don't know what is worse .. that they expected no one would claim them .. or .. that if someone did, they cared so little about losing them.

Either way, that tells you all you need to know about those players.

Our backup QB situation wouldn’t be any better if we signed another QB that was available. They’re all garbage but at least these two QBs spent OTAs and training camp with us. Plus Cooper Rush led us to a win last season and is 1-0 as a starter.

I'd bet that there are few teams that would want to bring in a backup QB who hadn't spent camp in the offense. You might go that way if there is a rookie or 2nd year guy you like but not with more experienced guys like Rush and Grier that aren't really going to develop anymore.

Cooper could not be claimed. New PS rules. This will set a trend in the NFL going forward.

Yep, they are all in on Dak.
It he gets hurt for any length of time the season is over.
Which makes the handling of the left tackle position so mind boggling.

Ya, it REALLY is so BAD. If Dak goes down, we are a 3-5 win team. That is unacceptable. You would think they would have learned their lesson on this.
