This is how our big guys on D stepped up

on candle in a mass of darkness doesnt provide much light.

Ive seen carr play superb far more often than not...so something tells me there is probably another issue.

Nor does a flashlight with one battery............So there. ;)

How can we dominate and suddenly forget how to play football with zero adjustment as the game went on?

The talent stinks. They simply hide this and when it's figured out, exposed.

Carr has as much to blame as anyone, IMO. He certainly isn't 'helping' anyone.

But HAtcher is awesome, everyone on here told me so. And Carter was going to be awesome and Garrett is going to be a great HC. How can so many posters be wrong. (myself included)

You bought the hope that jerry sells by the barrel every offseason................for 18 years.

Heaven forbid he contain.

Ah, I didn't realize that was Ware's purpose on the field. Containment by circling so wide that you are irrelevant to the play. Thanks for the clarification.

I see it and think what the hell............is he..........why did.........STOP doing that!

Wake Kiffin up, he's doing it again.

I think Hatcher, in particular, is making business decisions since his injury earlier in the year. Can you blame him? Ware is still not 100% regardless of his talk. Hatcher had one tackle against Chicago. Where has the pro-bowler disappeared to? He likely knows that to get injured this late in the season for basically nothing might not be the smartest thing for the big pay-day that looms. It might be reaching the point of every man for himself in Dallas, especially considering Garrett's outing of Romo. "The rattlesnakes are starting to commit suicide..."

Good points. I think you are right on point. Sad days for our team I'm afraid with no end in sight.

If there was ever a season that made it obvious we needed serious help on the defensive side of the ball this is it. I would go D-Line with every pick we have. I am dead serious.

I don;t care who you have in your secondary, if an NFL QB has all day to throw it turns into a 7 on 7 drill and you are toast. We are now the poster child for getting no pressure and the adverse results of that.

In the first half when we were being a little inventive and bringing some heat we were able to get some stops but in the second half when we didn't make adjustments and let our D play coverage they scored a TD with every possession. Rediculous.

If you cut him, I believe he'll hit the cap at 3mil, if you keep him, it's more like 16mil. If they plan on keeping him, they really need to cut his salary by a lot. He's not worth 16mil next year. I'd hate to see him go, but it's time.

The same goes for Austin. He's going to hit the cap at 8mil next year. He's another one that needs to get cut or salary cut.

They free up 7.5M if he is cut immediately or 12.25M if cut on June 1st.

The 1st year of Carr's 50M contract had a cap hit of 3.6M; therefore, 2 young free agents (2 x3.6 = 7.2) could be signed to 50M contracts with the savings from cutting Ware.

Add in the draft, and they could easily replace 4 starters on defense in the off-season, maybe more.

Great points. I would cut bait with Ware as much as I like him. He will never be what he once was. Too many battles in the trenches and they are starting to take a toll.
