This is so comical

The db hesitates , Beasely is already in heading to corner, he beats him to the sticks with the other corner being ran off

The DB is still standing in the right position even after hesitating. Beasley would be getting the ball 8-9 yards deep.

So this great play design is in fact, not that great, didn't have the Texans fooled and it comes down to Beasley having to making a play. To assume he would might be a reach.

Why does the DB hesitate again?

The hole play was bad ....it left 6 DL vs 5 OL

If we want a RB to get to the edge use Zeke and RSmith as the FB

But Zeke was hurting so use a different play and get Dak on the edge with a run pass option

It is not what Beasley is good at ..... he has no power and is a rag doll when hit

He should not be in the backfield
No defending the play but there is a reason why it would be Beasley rather than another RB. Again, something the typical fan does not think about but the offensive personnel dictates the defensive personnel. So perhaps you don't want them to bring another linebacker out there? And of course, we'll never know whether Beasley would have done the job since Dak handed it off.

The DB is still standing in the right position even after hesitating. He also has to run a shorter distance than Beasley who is 8 yards deep.

and 3 unblocked defenders to stop Beasley

It first matter where bease is all he has to so is beat him to the sticks, Jackson almost need a perfect angle to beat him there and hope Beasley don't stick his foot in the ground and get up field as he does well.

I would even take Tavon Austin who has done it before

Not Cole who has no experience on such a big play

The point here is that you seem to think this was some great play call design by the Cowboys that Dak screwed up when in fact, by any rational thought process, the play was defended properly by the Texans (they weren't fooled) and it comes down to whether or not Beasley can make a play.

So let's dispel with the notion that this was brilliance by the coaching staff only to be let down by the player(s) again.

You're ignorance to offensive football, and agenda, is really showing....lol

We drafted Zeke at 4 to get these yards

Not run him up the middle 5 vs 6 like a FB

Zeke is the TB in the I formation or don't use it..... he can be counted on to make an unblocked DB miss if it comes to that

Beat me with your best at least

LOL.

The Texans had the play defended. They weren't fooled. They had an OLB watching Dak and they had a DB to take the pitch guy.

So by design, no, there was nothing brilliant about what we did. We didn't confuse the Texans, we didn't catch them flat footed. It was a play that if Dak had kept the ball would have resulted in either he or Beasley having to beat their man to make a first down and it's unclear either would have been able to do that.

The only agenda here is you who despite continuing middling play from this team wants to try to argue that the coaches are doing a fine job only to be let down by their QB and other players.

I'm talking about the 3-1 call and 4-1. Folks are going crazy about the call. I heard the guys on 105.3 and some here who say the 3-1 call was dumb because they motioned Beasley into the backfield. Then say run read option, which is dumb because it was read option that Dak gave instead of keeping, Beasley was there as another option if Dak kept it. The play actually had 3 options to it and most think it was a simple dive to Zeke. If you're going to criticize, at least know what you're criticizing

When you have a dumb QB, only a coach who is more dumb would give him the option to choose . But you don't know if this was the play or not. Beez could've just been a decoy.

Again learn offensive football

Isn't that what your an is suppose to do....lol

What made that call so good?

Are you denying that the Texans weren't fooled? No one said Beasley couldn't have gotten the first down if he had the ball pitched to him. We are saying that lamenting the Dak hand off because the play call was great and Beasley would have definitely gotten the first down is impossible to guarantee.

Between you and Idgit, I don't know who is the bigger coaching staff fan boy. I really wonder what it's going to take for you to admit that this staff really isn't as good as you think.
