This is the true Qb situation

It maybe because of Romo's value as Holder too

Henson can hold just as good if not better than Romo so thats not an excuse.

Before Matt McBriar tried holding last year and had the plug pulled on him the year before Henson I believe held every single snap that year and did a great job.

Actually Romo did it that year too. But Romo did an exceptional, job, IMO, last year. He had several bad snaps, that were placed perfectly for kickers.

Anyway, It doesn't matter, but what I am saying is, just because Romo still ends up with No. 2 spot, even if the consensus from everyone who has watched Pre-season and TC, that Henson won the battle, then it might be for Romo's holding capability.

But of course its all depending on Henson does indeed play well in Pre-season and TC than Romo.

Which he hasn't done yet, making the "Bill will play Romo regardless" argument rather speculative and completely short of any evidence.

Heck, who went in for a half when Vinny got hurt?

You know, it's interesting. If you look at the teams around the league, not many really need QBs.

Baltimore has Bollinger who could figure it out or Baltimore could need one.
Buffalo invested in Loseman and has Holcomb.
Cincy has Palmer
Cleveland has Frye
Denver took Cutler and has Plummer
Houston seems to have settled on Carr
Indy has Payton
Jags have Leftwich
KC has Green and drafted Brodie Croyle in the 3rd.
Miami has Culpepper and Harrington
New England has Brady
Jets took there guy Clemmens in the 2nd Rd.
Oakland has Walter, who they like a lot, and still have Collins I think.
Steelers have Roath
San Diego has Rivers
Tennessee has Young and McNair.
Cards have Warner and just drafted Lienart
Falcons have Vick and Schaub
Carolina has Delhomme
Bears have Grossman, Orton and Griese
Detroit has McCown, Kitna and Orlovsky so maybe there. I don't know.
Green Bay has Favre and Rodgers.
Vikings took Travaris Jackson and they still have Johnson but they might.
Saints have Brees
GMen got the other Manning.
Philly has McNappie
49ers just took Smith number one over all in 2005.
Seattle has Hasselbeck
Rams have Bulger but I don't know.
Bucs have Simms, McCown and Ratty.
Skins have Brunnell, Ramsey and Campbell.

There are maybe 4 teams that might need a QB. Maybe less, as it stands right now.

You got Quinn, Palmer, Brohm, Stanton, Henne, Keller, Leak, just to name a couple. If we wanted to trade up for a guy like Quinn or Palmer or Brohm (assuming he's elligable) it may not take as much as you might think.

Sorry guy, but you're a little behind, Ramsey is no longer with the Skins and Collins is no longer with the Raiders. Also, Rivers ain't gonna make it and probably not Frye either, doesn't have the arm. We could however trade for a second or third year qb, like Jacobs or McPherson.

Sorry, so the Skins only have Brunell and Campbell. There still not looking for a QB in next years draft IMO.

As for the Raiders, Collins might be gone but I did say that the Raiders still like Walter very much. They still may not be in the market. I don't know.

Rivers or Frye may or may not make it but what does that have to do with anything? We're talking about next years draft. Neither Frye or Rivers will be evaluated as failures in one season. I don't see either of those teams using a 1st to draft a QB next year.

I would not trade for Jacobs or McPherson. Neither are any better then what we already have IMO. No, if were going to trade for a QB, I'd rather trade for a blue chip prospect coming out of the draft.
