Blankenship is one of those guys that for some reason people overvalue.

He's the Eagles version of Jeff Heath, a guy people for some reason think is way better than he actually is. Although as I said above, while a fan favorite early, many fans in Philly are coming around to the mediocrity that is Reed Blankenship.

That’s exactly who he reminds me of. Jeff Heath. I would hope we can do better then Reed Blankenship in the draft.

-Fire DC Matt Eberflus, we need to bring in a modern defensive scheme. Brain Flores would be my top target if he fails to land a HC job. He runs a modern, hybrid scheme and has gotten results without stars. Jim Leonard from the Broncos would be my fall back option.

-Time to open up the books and move some money to the post Dak years. They have the ability to create over 100 million in space. Franchise Tag George Pickens. Give him one more season to prove himself. Resign Javonte Williams, Stewart Move on from Diggs, Steele, Hooker.

Free Agency

-Trey Hendrickson Cincy Edge (his value is about 22 million right now)
-Quincy Williams Jets LB (reunite him with his brother)
-Reed Blankenship Eagles S (solidifies the deep secondary)
-Boye Mafe Seattle Edge (young, inexpensive rotational piece)
-Kelvin Beechum Swing Arizona Swing Tackle (inexpensive, experience Tackle, Guyton/Thomas can still improve)

Draft

Sonny Styles LB Ohio State (rangy, athletic, elite coverage type of linebacker)
Dillion Thieneman Safety Oregon (a versatile safety prospect)
Add another #2 RB for competition, more trench depth

We need CB, CB, CB, S, then 5 more CB’s. Our corners SUCK.

I'd give him 4/50 as I think that's what it will take.

What is your point? Wilson and Blankenship are not good safeties. Neither should be on the team next year.

If you want to get in the weeds as to who is better based on weighting by salary, have at it. Doesn't change the fact if you want to improve/fix the safety position this offseason, Reed Blankenship isn't the answer.

Far enough that people have difference of opinions regarding Blankenship, what I saw against the cowboys was when he went out, that is when the cowboys started to have success. Everything is about the box score and you don’t need stars at every position.

I want an impact edge rusher in fa, the rest can easily be filled out

Eberflus isn’t going anywhere. Y’all need to accept that. I’d resign Javonte but not for anything crazy. If he wants 10 million + per year he can go. I’d tag Pickens for sure and trade him if a team is willing to part with a 1st and 3rd.

Cut Diggs and maybe Steele. Sign Kam Curl to replace Donovan Wilson. Re-sign Clowney or sign Dre’Mont Jones to replace him.

Draft need to focus on defense and offensive line. I’d take a LB with our 1st and trade the GB pick for a 2nd and 3rd unless a blue chipper falls to that pick. Use the 2nd and 3rd on CB, OT, DE, S in that order depending on who’s available.

Not bad. But what are we doing at CB? We have some of the worst in the league…I keep seeing this ignored.

Eberflus was a terrible hire .
