This is why I'll never go to a game in Philly...

This may be in the tread already somewhere but I guess it's been reported the fans that have this happen to them are escorted to indoor box seats to watch the rest of the game (they should take it even farther than that and comp them food and drinks as well, not to mention throw out the people throwing them.)

I went to the Raider game against the Cowboys in the pre-season in Oakland. I was warned by many fellow Cowboy fans to not go and all that. I decided to not wear any Cowboy gear and I regret it, as there was a ton of Cowboy support at the game, with people wearing jerseys and cheering for the Cowboys. Of course there was no snow to throw, but I saw nothing like this kind of harassment at the game either.

I go to the Browns game everytime the Cowboys come to Cleveland and the worst I've gotten is the "A h o l e" chant everytime I got up to go the the rest room or concessions. Every now and then one of them wants to talk crap and I just point to the scoreboard and they usually shut up. For the most part the Browns fans are loud, obnoxious and drunk but also innocuous.

Lol ...someone here couldn't understand why I'm defending those eagle fans:D

I'm only defending those countless numbers of decent football loving eagle fans who do not throw snowballs or misbehave. Only a few here seem to want to make that acknowledgement for some unknown reason.

Listen, if I'm defending all Eagle fans (good and otherwise) ...then most of you guys are in denial, because you can't seem to understand that there are just as many fans from all of the other NFl franchises who are just as disruptive and in some cases violent.

It's ridiculous to think for one moment that anyone would condone the disruptive before captured in the video. Perhaps in stead of always making lewd comments abOut what's wrong with a fan base, you should start making recommendations about what could be done to change the behavior (in all situations and fan bases) ...

Videos could be used to identify seat numbers or fans that contribute to the disruptive behaviors ...and bring charges for arrest.

Tighter rules could be enforced at the stadium

Remove season ticket holders for the remainder of the season

Computerize violators to prevent them from purchasing tickets during the sseason

Anyone can criticize ...do something to make change! Perhaps the NFL Commissioner should get involved.

PT

You're saying that this type of thing happens everywhere. Simply saying it doesn't make it true. Specify...No one is saying that other teams don't misbehave, they are just commenting on the magnitude and frequency with which it happens with Eagle fans.

Someone mentionned the bottle incident at Cleveland Browns Stadium. It was a horrid occurence but it was directed at the blind officials not Jaguar fans. Still in bad taste, though

Haha yeah. I've heard Browns fans are by and large very, very drunk, but also not violent.

Philly fans are the world's trashiest. I use to have a lost of respect for that team though because they were professional and did not like thugs, but they put themselves on their fanbase level when they gave Vick the Ed Block award. I really hope Dallas stomps a hole in their *** in both home games that are coming up.

Northeastern attitude combined with alcohol and a high density of stupid people leads to trouble more times then not.

What gets me is some trying to justify or downplay classless actions or despicable acts by stating they've seen worse. So what? Those are horrible acts and has no impact on this incident and isn't justifiable, period.

This wasn't just few snow balls, rather, hundreds of them raining down on few people, simply because they were fans of another team, there is nothing could be said to justify this classless actions by number of idiotic Philly fans.

If Cowboys fans did this against another team's fan, I would say same damn thing, wrong is wrong, regardless who does it.

Cheap Booze + a Northeastern 9th grade education says alot about certain people. They want us to feel sorry for these insufferable dickheads. Have you seen their fans at local sports bars? Enough said...

Why are Philly fans such rednecks?

Yet they excuse of us being rednecks. Haha half of those idiots can't even afford something off the dollar menu at Taco Bell! The economy sucks in that city. Their baseball team wins a WS, and then they find out that the Yankees had another plan for them. The hockey team hahahahahahaha keep dusting off those two cups you won back when Gerald Ford was in office. Basketball? nah the Harlem Globetrotters could beat the 76****ters.

Don't compare them to soccer hooligans, hooligans are gonna fight no matter what they don't punk out like Philly fans when ever they don't have a 100/1 advantage on who ever they're picking on

Hooligans almost always keep it to other hooligans, too, going so far as to organize grudge matches far outside the Soccer arena. Even for soccer hooligans theres a certain ethos and code.
