I posted it a while back, and was reminded that I was the 100th poster to post it.

disgusting no matter how many times that I see it. This is typical group cowardly behavior.

I hadn't seen it before so I'm glad it was posted.

Philly is the worst (though we have our own jerks too).

This may be in the tread already somewhere but I guess it's been reported the fans that have this happen to them are escorted to indoor box seats to watch the rest of the game (they should take it even farther than that and comp them food and drinks as well, not to mention throw out the people throwing them.)

I went to the Raider game against the Cowboys in the pre-season in Oakland. I was warned by many fellow Cowboy fans to not go and all that. I decided to not wear any Cowboy gear and I regret it, as there was a ton of Cowboy support at the game, with people wearing jerseys and cheering for the Cowboys. Of course there was no snow to throw, but I saw nothing like this kind of harassment at the game either.

You're nuts.

I've worn Cowboys jerseys to games in Washington for the past 15 years and ever had anything like that happen to me.

I've gone to games in San Diego, Buffalo, Carolina and never experienced anything like that.

And in EVERY SINGLE GAME I've ever been to in Dallas, I've never seen opposing fans treated that badly simply for showing up and supporting their team, and if I saw other fans being treated like that, I'd do whatever I could to defend them.

Eagles fans in Philly are pure garbage and defending them is indefensible.

Like Boston & Chicago, Philly Fans grow up, live & die in Philly! Their town is not made up of transcients like Washington, San Diego, Carolina & Buffalo. They come from manufacturing & industrial backrounds. As a result, they have a Blue Collar / Union Mentality, believe in hard work and are extremely loyal to their City, It's Teams and each other. If you show up at a Dallas Eagles Game in your Dallas Jersey, all will be well as long as you don't talk smack. If you talk smack, all bets are off as that don't fly in Philly. Oh yeah, they hate scabs more than the Dallas Cowboys! I would recommend that you don't wear you Danny White Jersey in Philly if you go up there for a game. Like Buddy Ryan, their Fans never forgot Danny White crossing the picket line during the 87 NFL Strike or what he & Tom Landry did against a Eagles "Scab" Team made up of replacements, as no Eagle crossed the picket line in 87.

oh big freakin deal on this is "just the way it is" in Philly.

Damn the excuses. The fans act like thugs. People there think it's some kind of "union" mentality or whatever..got two words for ya....GROW UP.

Don't use the "blue collar" excuse, it's an insult to blue collar workers everywhere when you use that as an excuse or explanation for why philly fans are drunken classless retards. Earning an honest days pay trough hard work does not make you behave like Philly fans

Let me chime in here with something. Texas was built on blue collar worker's sweat too. It doesn't get any more blue collar than cattle ranches and roughnecks on oil rigs. Working in a factory doesn't make you more blue collar than someone else.

Yet in Texas they still exercise manners. I took great delight 2 years ago in showing my girls how all along Texas highways are signs that say "Drive Friendly."

Basically what I am saying to you is there really isn't any good excuse for people to be complete and total jerks. It has nothing to do with a shirt collar, a skin color, a marketplace, or even a state. I don't see Steelers fans who are blue collar iron workers in the same state of Pennsylvania acting like these morons. There simply is no defense of this. There are plenty of excuses and pardon me but excuses aren't worth a bucket of air.

Their fans aren't tough. Tough people don't need a pack mentality. They are nothing but yellow stripe up their back cowards.

I've been to plenty of games in both Dallas and Washington, and I've never seen host fans just flat out attack an opposing teams' fan that wasn't asking for it by being an instigator.

That happens ALL THE TIME in Philly... they pride themselves on it.

Maybe that happens in Oakland, I don't know... and it wouldn't surprise me if it happened in some college environments... but don't act like this is common behavior all over the place. And it certainly isn't common behavior in Dallas (or in Washington, I'll give them credit for that).

It doesn't happen in Oakland. Oakland is mostly just people in dressup during the games. It's only out in the parkinglot afterwards that there are problems, and then it's not fan-related, but gang-related that just happens to be aimed at opposing teams fans.

Philly fans are what their record says they are: classless 'tards and proud of it.

I didn't know "Carolina" according to the world of Norton was a city. It's a state, and one you can't afford to live in. Now I don't bag on the Blue Collar work ethic. A good percentage from my mothers side of the family are and were Blue Collar Steel Workers in Allentown, Baltimore, and parts of NJ. Now I don't bag on the Union workers. I support the Unions. Now Eagles fans are another level of idiocy. I'm surprised you all can afford those tickets! Aren't they on 20 year waiting lists for those tickets? Do you dream of sleeping with a Lombardi trophy and a hot woman? Before you say Cowboys fans are soft, and not as tough as the herd of the pack mentality you guys have. We aren't afraid to confront many things, and I have stood up for myself against a cretin fan base such as that one. They wern't too pleased. You and I may be different people. I worked my *** off to get where I am, while you probably well.....

Those Niner fans should sue the league and the Eagles for not ensuring their safety at a game (assuming that they didn't initiate said snowball fight). They have a right to show up in whatever team's jersey they like.

Maybe this is why GOD won't let them win the Super Bowl...
