We have played 49 seasons in the NFL. It took Tom Landry until his 6th year to have a .500 or above season, and his 7th season to rise above .500.

The Cowboys have had 25 seasons with double digit regular season wins. 12-4 is the most common record for 16 game seasons. They have achieved that mark 7 times.

32 of the Cowboys 49 seasons they have had an above .500 record.

Twice they have been a .500 team.

That means 34 out of 49 seasons, 69.4% of the time, this team is at least a .500 team. Only 15 times have they failed to reach .500 and 6 of them were the first 7 years of existence. Those are 6 of Landry's 8 years with a below .500 record.

No wonder we hate Dave Campo.

Hate Dave Campo the HC not the DB coach, I love his enthusiasm but I dont appreciate the 15-33 tenure he had here has HC.

Cant forget the best win percentage (as of middle of last year) in NFL history and 8 time conference champs

I didn't like Dave Campo when he was the DB coach before. He stinks as a coach at any level and position IMO. I disagree with his basic philosophy about football. He does not coach DBs to play the ball but the man and to me that is not the way to win games.

I think of Landry's 29 (?) years as HC, all his winning seasons, and I am surprised they only won two championships.

But that's a whole lot of Monday mornings that it was easier to clock in, with a Cowboys win the previous day.

His style sucks. They NEVER look back for the ball. I don't understand it.

And I'm not spoiled. SuperBowl 30 was the last good thing and it wasn't a fun SuperBowl. I've seen disappointment after disappointment.
