Great post!! Washington has nothing to lose, even though its still earlier in the season if that makes sense. Washington players don't have to worry about the stress of playing in front of their own crowd and hearing the boos all game.

I believe we will win this game but if we blow them out, i believe Rivera will be fired.

After the Cowboys, the next two games for the Commanders are at home playing the Titans, then Thursday night at the Bears. Synder might wait to see if the team rebounds after an expected (we hope) loss to Dallas to be 3-3 one third of the way through the season. If the record is 2-4 or 1-5, he can sack Rivera; the interim head coach then has 10 days to prepare for his debut versus the Packers at FedEx Field.

This is the coaches' (especially Fat Mike) and team leaders jobs to prevent the team from being flat. This is all on those 2. Better practice sharp and have an edge!

i think the defense will feed on the commanders, and we should be able to run the ball on them, they keep the gameplan the same and Rush takes care of the ball we should win.

LOL. No, it’s not a “trap game”. First off, I don’t believe such a thing exists. It’s just a term pundits throw out. To me, it’s just like saying you’re lucky or unlucky. There’s no such thing as luck. It’s just a term people use to rationalize something good or bad happening. You either play well or you don’t. And even if there was such a thing as a “trap game”, a team playing its backup QB wouldn’t fall into that “trap”.

Dallas SHOULD win, because they’re better. But…The R-e-d-s-k-i-n-have nothing to lose. They’ll stack the box to stop the run, and on passing downs, they’ll rush 4, with an occasional “hidden” 5th. They’re wearing black, hate the Cowboys, and will try anything. I’d bet they’ll play their best game so far. It’s a division game, so we can’t get cute.
