Trap games are for college kids, aka amateurs. No such excuse for professionals, you either win or you lose. If you lose to inferior opposition then shame on you.

Dallas SHOULD win, because they’re better. But…The R-e-d-s-k-i-n-have nothing to lose. They’ll stack the box to stop the run, and on passing downs, they’ll rush 4, with an occasional “hidden” 5th. They’re wearing black, hate the Cowboys, and will try anything. I’d bet they’ll play their best game so far. It’s a division game, so we can’t get cute.
Jerry should open the roof so that sun can beat down on those black uniforms.

We’ve lost to inferior opposition many times. That’s why so many are down on us.

Washington has some good players on offense and defense. I doubt any team starting its backup QB will overlook any other team, especially a division foe, but after the beating Washington took last week they will be fired up. The Cowboys need to ready to play this one.

This is your classic trap game. Coming off 2 wins one of them being a big divisional win. Everyone saying the Cowboys should win. Everyone saying how good the team is. Playing a 1-2 team at home. In past years, this would be a loss. Is THIS team different? This is a huge test for the Cowboys. Time to show that this team is different.
I just think the Commanders offense is too much of a mess right now. Bad OL and a QB that really isnt going to perform under that condition. They have more skill position weapons than the past couple years, but not good enough to overcome their issues and really make a difference.

You could be right about it being a trap game. However given the state of their OL, they will have to really out gameplan us on that side of the ball to win

I don’t know if it’s a trap game or not. I had the title as “Is this a trap game?” And some mod changed it to what it is now. Why I have the slightest clue.

I've gone full home since the 2nd game. Dallas by 13.

Hope they come prepared to play, if not they will lose.
This team is not good enough to just show up and win.

Yeah, they arbitrarily delete or change things quite frequently, without explanation, and often without logic. You were asking posters what they thought, and they changed it into a strong opinion that would/could instigate intense debate.

I thought that about the Gmen game.

Divisional games are never trap games.
They are the epitome of "any given Sunday".
"Throw the records out", etc.
Also, 56-14 last year... Dallas wins 41-24.

We have been grinding out games, I don't feel like this is a trap game imo. Too early for that and we already have a loss for the year

"Trap games" are 100% psychological. It's more "continuing down the road after a black cat crosses" than anything. Just do your best and scheme up the right stuff and you'll be fine.

Phew! It’s only a trap game if someone doesn’t point out it’s a trap game. Now that you’ve pointed it out, we can rest easy. You’re a genuine hero, sir.

there's no such thing as a trap game when you're playing with a backup QB
