my brother was just at a convention and spoke with SAM HURD...they were talking and SAM told my bro that he doesn't think marion will be back and that BP is gonna trade us for him....

i'll tell you what boys if we let go of the BARBERIAN i will be sick to my stomach....

he said jerry only wants to give him 1 yr and he obviously wants more......
 
I can't, for the life of me, understand why you would possibly think that SAM HURD has the slightest idea what our front office does or is going to do. For that matter, I think that you should provide a little more verification before throwing **** like this on this forum...this place is better than that.

well im just relaying what SAM told my brother you would think he knows as they speak to each other .....he said he wants more then 1 yr and JERRY doesnt want to sign him to more.....thats would be really bad......he is the heart and soul of our offense....

hey hh31 tell me why we haven't signed him yet then......

Half the time the players don't have all the details in their own contract negotiations. Why would they know what is happening with other's. There is a lot of heresy in play here. You can choose to believe what you want...and I'm sure you'd love this angle for your McFadden fetish, but I'll believe what common sense tells me.

Sam Hurd is a frickin ******. Have you ever listened to him talk for more than a couple minutes? It's painful. He's probably got about as much insight into Barber's contract situation as my wife's cat.

It has been said that jerry would trade our entire draft to get McFadden... Why not Barber? Barber #22 and Ayodele for #1and Ricky Williams. #28 for Roy Williams, Anquan Boldin or Chad Johnson and a #5 for Pacman. We are set. You take Ray Rice in the 2nd Jordy Nelson in the 3rd and Justin King in the 4th for depth...

Wish we wouldn't doubt and be hard on older members with posts so quickly (he has been here since 06).

If it was said, it was said. If you don't like it, thats another thing. I would be the same if he had 2 posts and joined yesterday, but thats not true.

Sam might be talking out the side of his neck really, but the deal is this, and its rather obvious. Jerry isn't going to think about a long term deal with Marion until after he sees what happens in the draft, period. Whether its got something to do with DMac, who knows. All we can do is wait til the draft and find out.
