I know it probably sounds ridiculous for me to say this. However, I must admit that this loss was painful for me tonight. maybe I'm foolish. Maybe it's because I'm young. I don't know. However, it felt absolutely torturous to watch today's defeat.

I suppose it's because this regular season was the best one that I have seen since becoming a fan around 2000. I mean, sure, we've had 13 win seasons before, but, before this game today, I felt this team really had a chance to do something special. Now, I dont know. We probably won't win the division next year because that's how the division works. We probably will have a new coach, but what's to say it's going to be a good coach if it's not McCarthy? Its going to have to be someone that works well with Jerry. But then, what happens to the team? Does it become irrelevant like when I started as a fan? Does it become successful? It just feels, well, painful feeling like this might have been the closest I'm going to have seen this team having a chance at success for some time.

I'm always going to stay a fan of this team. Most losses don't affect me the way they used to, but this one feels different just because of what I've described. Or at least, that's what's been rolling in my head since the game ended. Then again, should I care that much? The players don't seem to care that much. Their loss is mended by the money they made. Jerry won't care because he's got billions.

I'm sorry if this thread seems to be rambling. I'm just trying to vent a bit after how painful this loss was for me.
I think the players do care, which makes their performance that much more infuriating.

It probably hurt Jerry like a mosquito bite. The billions he raked in for a playoff game will make him feel much better.
The thing is when you have money already all the other things that money can't buy is what you want the most. And number one on that list is health! If you don't have that you have nothing. Than I'm sure #2 for Jerry is a championship.

I don't know how you fix this. The team clearly plays like they are under severe pressure. If on the opening drive Love threw a pick 6, I bet the Cowboys offense looks much better. It's when they get down they seem to stiffen up and play terrible. They can't play from behind. Their drives look labored. I can't explain it.
That's not supposed to happen when supposedly we have a great leader at quarterback. That's the whole purpose of leadership to rally the troops behind you during adversity. The narrative that Prescott is a great leader has always been phony

Guarantee there is friction among players. Lamb was annoyed with Dak early. And I'm sure the defense was pointing fingers at each other. The team was not prepared and players were watching Dak pull another choke job and inside they were pissed off.
It would only be human nature for so e if these guys led by Parsons to be saying here we go again.

Well, maybe Jerry should think about his health and whether or not owning this team anymore is good for him.

It's weird because in 2016, when he had the most pressure on him, he did alright. But all season long, even last season, him and the Cowboys did nothing but choke when the pressure was on.

That’s normal…this was a terrible loss. One of the worst I’ve seen just because of the on paper talent discrepancies. This isn’t losing to the 49ers or the Favre Vikings that year. We didn’t show up and were completely outclassed and outcoached.

Losing is one thing…losing in that fashion?…demoralizing
