This loss- we can get over it

Do you think this is the type of loss we can overcome?

IMO, we've been through this situation.

In 1992, we looked like world-beaters until the Monday Night game in Philly.

After that, they ran off five or six wins in a row.

This could be one of those 'remember where we came from' situations.

This team can come back from this loss and still have a good season.

THIS loss is irrelevant.

Unless we collapse and don't make the playoffs -- in which case we'll have plenty of other losses to blame -- the ONLY wins and losses that matter are those in the playoffs. Everyone from Jerry to the coach to the players to the media has made that abundantly clear.

I'm over it. Let's just take it out on the Bungles next week. They deserve to be crushed just because it will make us feel better.

Sure we can.

I just wish this defense would attack more. Everyone and their mother blamed it on Zimmer when he was here, especially on our lack of INTs. Amazing how things haven't changed much in that area.

The CB's need to play more bump and run and less 6-10 yard cushions.

this lose matters...cuz if we don't even make the playoffs how we supposed to we lose there????

Imagine what this place would have been like at the end of November 1993 when we were punked by the Falcons and then Leon Lett gave the game way on US Thanksgiving.

I shudder at the thought.

You mean the dolphins game on Turkey day?

HELL FREAKING YEAH... Henry and his 10 yard cushion EVERY single passing down... T-New had a crappy game too

Everybody keeps saying this, but Larry Brown was on The Ticket saying that secondaries that "play off" of the receivers usually get a lot of interceptions. He should know, but maybe he's wrong. Clearly, we need to do something different.

We can definitely get over it. All the hype of being the best team in the league could have gone to their heads. Hopefully this is a nice little reality check for the Boys and they can come back with a vengeance. Sucks that they needed it though.

It's one game and there are 12 more to go. I'm cranky over this loss, but I doubt it's going to be the deal breaker whether we can go far into the playoffs.

I just hope someone learns from it.

Amen to that. Bump and run does a few things.

1) Timing of the offense is thrown off IF you jam the WR properly.

2) It gives the pass rush a little extra time to get to the passer.

3) It could also lead to a big play by the offense, but it could also lead to a poor throw or bad decision by the QB.

This dink and dunk crap is getting old. Mix in more bump and run, and more man to man.

The loss sucks but the reality of it is, we are doing fine. Heck if we can stay on this same pace we will finish the year 12 and 4. I would take that in a heartbeat.

I wish people would stop making comparisons to the 90's Super Bowl teams. I see no point in it, this team is no where near that level.

We should be 7-1 heading into NY to face the Giants if that plays out this loss is going to be a distant memory.

Like the Lions for some reason the Commanders just seem to have our number right now, Im not too worried about this loss. Even though it does suck to lose to the Commanders I highly doubt we will see them in the playoffs.

We are 3-1. Its not the loss we have to get over.

We have to get over not correcting problems.
