Would you leave the iggles for the Cowboys?
That's a pretty big if. Right now, it looks like a wall that may be crumbling on the ends.If Steel and Guyton can improve, I predict we will see a resurgence of great offensive line play in Dallas. With Beebe in his 2nd season and Tyler Smith and Tyler Booker manning the middle this O line will be better than the Great Wall of Dallas.
Well, there are advantages to playing guard in making the transition to the pros. Usually players have to catch up to the power they face every week from NFL defensive tackles. That part shouldn't be a problem for Booker.According to Archer, the Cowboys graded Booker as the best offensive lineman in the draft. The Cowboys probably expect Booker to be one of the top linemen on the team coming in from college.
Because the season hasn’t started yet. This O Line will be as good as The Great Wall of Dallas
Why can't we let them go out and prove it?
Right now it looks like DT and OT are the 2 positions that must improve the most in order to see the playoffs in 25.If we see improvement here Dallas will be a playoff team. That's a pretty big if. Right now, it looks like a wall that may be crumbling on the ends.
Guyton has got to grow up. He has the talent to be a good tackle. He has ballerina feet. Hopefully he got healthy and worked hard on his technique/strength during the offseason. As long as the interior of offensive meets expectations, they should be able to help Guyton/Steele on the outside.Well, there are advantages to playing guard in making the transition to the pros. It's a lot tougher to make the transition at tackle because of the speed and technique of NFL ends. We expected too much of Guyton last year IMO to not only make that transition but to do it on the opposite side from which he played in college. That's on the front office. We should have signed Tyron for one more year and let Guyton learn not just throw the rookie into the fire while he is trying to adjust to the technique needed for playing the opposite side.
Better??? Go big or go home I guessIf Steel and Guyton can improve, I predict we will see a resurgence of great offensive line play in Dallas. With Beebe in his 2nd season and Tyler Smith and Tyler Booker manning the middle this O line will be better than the Great Wall of Dallas.
I think he is better than Erik WilliamsI believe you are on to something here.Guyton may be better on the right side ,this 6th round pick Ajani Cornelius looks to be promising as well he looks good especially in the run game .
Steele, While I agree we need a change at the coaching staff really across the board was necessary his downfall started with his ACL blowing out and him not coming back well from it that's why he's been improving a little out of time...I’m cautiously optimistic about this offensive line, but they’re a long way off from being mentioned alongside the Great Wall of Dallas.
I love the three interior positions (on paper), but there are plenty of questions at tackle.
Steele made significant improvements as the year went along, and I’m hopeful that he will continue to do so now that Solari is gone. His drop off coincided with Solari’s arrival.
Guyton is the huge question mark. The Cowboys really need him to play up to his abilities and potential.
