This offense is awful

I knew it was bad but didn't realize it was this bad. This has become Campo's Cowboys.

Romo has 35 drives on the season and scored only 5 TD's.

Cassel has 55 drives and has only scored 7 TD's.

We have clipped off a full touchdown and extra point off of our scoring offense from last year as well.

Our leading reciever is Witten at 60 catches.

McFadden is averaging a mere 3.8 yards per carry.

We will not have a 3,000 yard passer, 1,000 yard rusher, or 1,000 reciever this year in 16 games.

I've done the eye test and have been complaining about this offense since JG took over, but didn't realize it was this bad! People want to say if we hadn't just lost Romo, but that's not truly the case as he was not scoring as well.

We would have had better success if we went with the wildcat/direct snap to RBs after Romo got hurt.

This year has confirmed what some have been implying for years. That Romo makes his receivers look a lot better than some of them are. Both Dez and Garrett should be sending Romo nice gifts for Xmas this year. Both of them owe their multi year contracts to him. Granted Dez pretty much gets ignored by the offensive geniuses that run our offense, but he has been mud without Romo.

Its been like this all year long. People keep complaining about the defense and marinelli ( lol) when the real problem is the putrid offense. To be competitive we need to generate 24 pts each game of offensive scoring.

We got an ancient dude who gets shoe string tackled, a dude that can only body catch, a little smurf dude who might break at any moment, and a dude w a monkey.

Think how different the turnover and sack totals could be if the offense gave the defense the ability to be more aggressive and not always play bend don't break. Then again, with the men in charge, we would play even more conservatively on D if that was the case...

Where were you when Romo was making this offense look remotely formidable? Giving praise to the rebuild of this team and the roster turnover making 8-8 acceptable, etc. Wasting Romo's prime while pointing to the D as the culprit instead of the HC where it belonged? The team lacks scheme and discipline. Romo could only cover for JG for so long bf he was exposed. We were called ungrateful?
