This organization is so unlikeable

Dak was frustrated because he knows there’s nothing he can do to help the team win when the defense is the NFL’s worst for 2 years now. The worker is probably one of the haters here so I’m glad he was fired.
:D Heh, in that other thread a bout who would you vote to be the DC's Owner. If Rockport would become the new owner, he'd yell at the fans to find a new team.

The whole premise of this is wrong. You can use many more objective adjectives, maybe we all are just dumb. Is that possible?
If you think this "incident" is not indicative of intrinsic negative characteristic, you are mistaken.

In my opinion of course.

For at least 25 years now, I've always thought how I'd never root for this team if I didn't grow up in north Texas with a dad who was a fan and a grandpa who used to go watch them at the Cotton Bowl.

Not so much because of the individual players, but because I like franchises who just focus on the game itself, make legitimate efforts to field the best teams possible, and otherwise stay fairly under the radar. Obviously with Jerry, this franchise is the exact opposite of all those things.

Moved to the KC area a little over 30 years ago. I have tried to make myself be a fan of the Chiefs, especially since Mahomes. Even got the opportunity to hang out with with Kelce one evening, very nice guy. Football fan life would be so much more enjoyable if I embraced the Chiefs, I guess I am a glutton for punishment because I cannot do it.

Not really a fan of Dak now. He talks too much, demanded too much money and has a tendency to choke too much. But I don’t blame him one bit on the idiot worker. When you are at work, representing the brand, you don’t do that crap…stupid.

Actually I miss about 1/2 of them because they don't deserve my time and it's been that way for a while now. And I don't pay for cable, etc. so Jerry doesn't get anything from me other than deserved abuse.
Even if you rent a hot air balloon, and watch the game floating back and forth, you support Jerry!!

Guy has a family to feed. QB should take the high road and not let innocents get hurt by saying get that guy outta here. Guy put himself in that position to be fired; Dak should've taken the high road. Both can be true.
I get your point. What I'm trying to say is he'll have another job making the same money in a week. Those jobs are a dime a dozen.

Lol care to explain?
I asked AI for a detailed explanation. Nielsen ratings, as well as others, factor into viewership/advertising dollars given to each team.

Over-the-air (OTA) television viewed through an antenna can be included in Nielsen ratings. Nielsen specifically measures OTA households as part of its TV audience panels. Nielsen notes that data from smart TVs and cable/satellite set-top boxes alone do not capture OTA viewing, which is one reason Nielsen continues to use its panel-based measurement systems.

In practical terms:
  • If your household has been selected as part of a Nielsen panel, your OTA viewing can be measured.
  • If you simply watch TV with an antenna and are not part of a Nielsen-measured household, your individual viewing is not directly counted. Nielsen estimates total audiences from its sample households.
  • Nielsen reports that OTA households remain a significant portion of U.S. TV homes, with roughly 18-20% of TV households having OTA capability in recent measurements.

So the short answer is: Yes, OTA viewing is captured by Nielsen ratings, but primarily through Nielsen's measurement panels rather than by tracking every antenna user individually.

So in other words you didn't even read or maybe understand what you posted. I'm not part of their panel dummy.

That's not what happened. Dak ran to the staff member and told him what happened. Then the staff member did a 180 to confront the guy.

Getting someone fired because he hurt your feelings is classless. The next person needs to tell him "you know your mom saw how you got that guy fired and I'm sure she's not pleased."
We need more fans calling the players out to their face. Call it what you want. I don’t really care. But the people in the organization from the top down need to know how embarrasssing it is to be a fan of this team. Like people are literally not letting people know they are cowboys fans, or they don’t wear their cowboys shirt or hat out in public. Hahaha I mean think about that. The players and coaches and especiallly the Jones family needs to know that. Every time somebody sees the Jones in public they need to be bashed repeatedly. This stadium worker I say kudos to him! Why was he fired? I don’t get it. For saying embarrassing? Shows you how soft this franchise is

I could also see him hanging signs all over the stadium entrances saying "No haters allowed. Either love my clown show or find another team."

Von Miller was old and didn’t give a damn last use and woke up out the bed and got 9 sacks. Just saying….

Every single player in the NFL is more than likely a winner. All came from a winning program at some point in their life. So at that point what separates those type of players from players on the Lions or the Browns or the Raiders? All crappy cultures. You don’t understand why for 30 years regardless of the head coach the Steelers and Ravens culture is pretty consistent? They win consistently? Or why San Fran is consistent?

You say you understand Jerry is to blame but then go on a tangent about the players and their will to win. Check the scouting reports of all these guys. How many of them didn’t win or were perennial losers? It’s been 30 years sir. Dak has only been here 11 and Lamb about 6 of them. This predates even Romo and Bledsoe.
Ok show me what winning program Dak came from? He won nothing here. Or at Miss St or in high school. So what are you talking about? Most players don’t ever win anything in their life and they certainly don’t all mostly come from winning programs

Dale Hansen summarizes the state of the team perfectly:
We need more fans calling the players out to their face. Call it what you want. I don’t really care. Agreed and this was a valet driver if I'm not mistaken. I don't wear any Cowboys merchandise because one, I don't want to give them any money and two, I don't want people to think I'm mentally handicapped because that's basically what you have to be to keep following this team.

I hope everyone starts calling him "embarrassing" from now on. Wherever he goes just say "embarrassing."

Thugs? What thugs are on the team? You guys love to throw that around loosely.

Funny you think this team is unlikeable but im assuming you had no issue in the 90s rooting for the cocky scum bag thugs who played for this team lol. There was no one more arrogant than Prime or Irvin. You just didn’t didn’t care because they won.

But hopping on a soap box because these guys are “thugs” or bums is silly lol. Just say you don’t like them because they aren’t good.
He could've easily left that part out too. Smh. He told on himself.

• Undefeated Regular Season: As a senior in 2010, he led the Haughton Buccaneers to the only undefeated regular season (10-0) in the program's history.
• Playoff Runs: He guided Haughton to an overall 12-1 record and a trip to the state quarterfinals in his senior year.
• District Championships: He earned district championship victories, including a notable performance playing through a sprained MCL in a regular-season showdown against rival Parkway High School.

I could also see him hanging signs all over the stadium entrances saying "No haters allowed. Either love my clown show or find another team."
Or fans leaving early during a blow out, trying to beat the traffic. "That's right, jump off the ship like a fleeing rat, you bandwagon fan!"
