Why do people believe Romo = end of season and hope? Stop and think about it. From a playing time standpoint, yes, he's green. But the guy is far from a rookie. This is his 4th year. I believe he has the NFL way of life down pat, just hasn't had alot of actual playing time.

Yeah, he made mistakes Monday night. But I've watched the second half about 3 times now. Romo is not panicked or freaking out in the pocket. He looks calm in the pocket. Makes his reads and moves when he has too. You can tell he is confident, not afraid.

And I was happy when we signed Bledsoe last year. I felt he gave us stability we have been lacking for some time. But I admitted to myself that he looked somehow different this year. We all saw it.

But give up? .........Not On Your Life. This isn't some fresh out of school rookie we have starting for us. He's been watching. He's been learning. He will correct his mistakes much faster than a true rookie would. He knows the NFL life.

Arizona and Detroit are guaranteed wins

I'm sure we will beat Washington but I wouldn't guarantee that by any means.

Look at the rest

Indy
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Atlanta
Ny Giants
Philly
Carolina

I doubt we will be favored in any of the games above.
Nothing is guaranteed.

This season is done.

In that case, I see no reason for you to continue posting on this forum until the offseason...

Point remains... what else is he going to say?

7 point swing, but still a 14 point margin. Most margins of error in polls are between 3-5, not enough to swing you here. And a margin of error is more the larger the sample size is. Smaller sample sizes typically mean smaller margin of error. And like I said, if anything it's skewed TOWARDS Romo in this case.
what's with all the "margin of error" and "14 point swings"???... this is a team forum not an IBM supercomputer. exit polling on this election is absolutely inconsequential. we don't get to vote for the future. it unfurls itself over time without regard to our personal opinions. romo could spark the team to run the table or he could fall flat on his face and take the team with him. or he could get injured - causing the return of bledsoe.... ...
10 games left and some are already waving the white flag. we're 3-3 - not 1-5.

i sure hope this team has more heart than some of it's fans do.

This season is done. Neither Romo or Bledsoe is the answer. And the reality is that Parcells could be gone if we don't make the playoffs this year. And if we do make the playoffs, we aren't going very far.

Our offensive line is so horrible that neither Qb is going to progress much. Let's face it, we have lost to every respectable team we have faced this year aside from the Commanders and then again the Redskis aren't that great.

I'm not saying this to put peoples' spirits down but we have to face reality. Our offensive line needs a lot of work both in regards to coaching and talent. That's not going to be fixed this season. And our QB situation is a mess. Romo may be more mobile than Bledsoe but he is also far more inexperienced and he isn't exactly the calm presence in the pocket that we are seeking. If he turns into anything, it's going to be next season and not this one. Also, I agree that he should be given a chance to start over Bledsoe so my issue doesn't lay there.

But I'm already thinking of Parcells replacement next season. I'm grateful to Parcells in many ways and our defense is amazing due to him. I don't think he will be fired but I think he will quit on his own due to his age and the rest he probably desires. Jimmy Johnson would be my ideal coach and I could see that happening. However, I think a successful and well proven assistant coach could come here and build on Parcell's success. What do you think?

So just give up at 3-3? We're done? Should we even watch? The division is essentially one game away? What about success stories? What about risk?
