This season is partly on us fans (including me)

No, fans are not responsible for the onfield product. That’s nothing more than self-aggrandizing behavior.

You say the fanbase isn’t loud about their displeasure? That’s simply not true.

Sure. We didn't put the product on the field, but maybe we haven't done enough to make it crystal clear to Jerry that his team and his offseason approaches have been unacceptable. Maybe it's time we find ways to demand more of Jerry.

Up until a few weeks ago we had people here telling us to root for another team if we won't blindly support the Cowboys.
Ok. Though if the team causes you constant angst… maybe it’s not the worst suggestion?

This sounds like the logic of an abused person.

And we aren't abused by him? Does he not take our passion about this team and abuse it? I'm tired of seeing our team suck. I'm tired of seeing glaring weaknesses, and it not being fixed. I'm tired of being America's Comedy. I love this team. I love the Cowboys. I want this team to be better. I'm demanding more from Jerry, and we should all demand more.

Then maybe fans stand outside his stadium in the Walmart parking lot in a picket line.
No ....... just stop giving him attention and stop going to his games ......... that big gaudy stadium being empty except for lap dogs and boot kissers would show more than a stupid bill board ever would

And that's the kind of attitude that I'm talking about that's allowed the problem to fester. Or saying that we aren't buying tickets and we're just going to roll over, and let Jerry steal our passion. No!! Screw that!! Most of you have been here longer than Jerry's been owning the team. I'm going to be a fan long after Jerry dies. We need to demand more! We need to understand that the reason this kind of crap doesn't fly in Philadelphia is because the fans make it clear it won't fly. This kind of softness won't fly in New York because New York fans will turn on their team and demand more. It's time we learn those methods. Maybe it's time we change how we support the team. Instead of blindly taking what Jerry says and think it's going to lead to a SB, maybe it's time we demand Jerry build a team that can win.

Maybe it's time we understand that we can change our culture as fans. Maybe it's time we change our fan culture. Maybe it's time we adopt a bit of a Philadelphia-like or New Yorkesque attitude to the Cowboys where this kind of stuff is not acceptable.

You can demand all you want, good luck with that.

Or we can voice our disgust and stay. I think a lot of us are sticking around just to throw the crap he's dished to us right back at him. It's a waste of energy but some people have to get revenge before they move on. I'm one of them.

How is that working for Giants and Jets fans?

I mean, sure, but I'm saying make him choose. We can always go the walk out mode later, but I'm not giving up my fanhood that easy. I'm not giving up my fanhood that easy. I want to try to make it clear that he either understands that we are having a culture shift as fans or he can ban us all from the stadium. He either fixed the problem and makes us competitive, or he and the team will never hear the end of our displeasure until he either sells or bans us. I'm talking about making him choose an ultimatum if you will.

That’s your choice. I just watch the games and see what happens for 3 hours a week and then move on to the rest of my life.

It's not on me.

I refuse to go to a game this year.

I refuse to buy merch this year.

I do not support this FO. I'll stream the games and love my team, but I'm not trying to pad Jerry's pockets any further.

Some people's butts are keeping the seats warm in the stadium on game day, Jerry doesn't care which fans they belong to.
There are 300-plus million people in the USA. There are nearly 30 million people in Texas. There are over 1.3 million people in Dallas, TX.
If all of the current season ticket holders quit coming to the games and sold their tickets for $1 each on the open market, there would be another 90,000 "fans" in the stands for the next home game. Such is the allure of the Dallas Cowboys, and such are people that haven't been to an NFL game due to the cost and would re-fill the stadium.

Realistically there are only a couple of things that we as fans can do. 1. Unless and until the stadium is empty or has a huge number, say 1/3 or more of the seats vacant on a consistent basis, or 2. rain loud boos on the team every loss and every poor play game after game.

Not sure how we can make that happen...

I mean damn! If people think we're such a nauseating fan base. If people think we are so annoying, then maybe it's time we harness that. Maybe it's time we understand that we have more power than we think. We can't sign players, but we can demand higher quality. We can demand toughness. We can demand what made us great.

How about you just do you, and keep your suggestions about how others go about their lives to yourself.
