Do you guys know how hard it is to beat a team 3 times in a season? Come back in off the ledges.

There is no ledge, we already leaped off it when we lost. What do you think happens next week, we get another shot?

No but to say that we suck and we are failures is idiotic. We took major steps this year.

A very disappointing and unfulfilling season but I don't believe this season was a failure, unless of course you expectation was winning the SB.

We had lot of good things happen during this season and it isn't like we finished 3-13. I could think of worse situation which I consider it to be a failure.

I believe we are better than last year's team and that means, we have improved and I'm hoping that we'll continue to improve for better result next season.

I don't care about the NFC East title, 13 wins, or the first seed in the playoffs. We had to have post-season success for this to be a good year. To lose our first playoff game against a team we beat twice in the regular season invalidates the entire season in my mind. This year was a failure.
I agree. if you cant beat a team like the giants at home in the playoffs. you have no business in the playoffs.this loss never should have happen.

When the #1 seed in the NFC is 17-0 in the divisional round since 1990, and you don't win a single playoff game because you lost in your house to a despised rival. Not to mention this is the 6th straight playoff defeat and you haven't won a playoff game since 12/28/1996, its hard to think about winning 13 games and a division title.
It sure feels like a f-a-i-l-u-r-e.

Steps to where, exactly? We're still one and done, same as last year. We still played weak in December, same as last year. We know we have a good offense, same as last year. We know our secondary needs work, same as last year. Our rookies didn't do much of anything, same as last year.

We took all these steps last year, this should have been the year we applied what we learned.

I would have been okay if we played a good game against the Pack next week and lost. Disappointed of course, but I would have felt better winning that first playoff game and proving the critics wrong for at least a week. I wasn't feeling too good about this team in December, but I was pumped for this week with all of our guys back healthy. I thought we would return to our mid-season form. The whole thing just leaves me with a bitter taste in my mouth.

So tony made no strides this year? D Ware? Marion Barber? T.O.?

Again I ask, strides to what? Barber should have been starting half way through this season, T.O. is T.O., and Ware certainly is carving himself out to be one of the best in the business.

That doesn't change the fact that we made a lot of the same mistakes we made last year. Scoring 3 points in the 2nd half of a home playoff game? Are you kidding me?

So you don't think Tony Romo improved over last year? I guess not. I personally think we should cut all 53 players and start over fresh. Maybe then we can win the super bowl next year.

No it's like 11 of 63. Nice try though.
He was saying 17 times teams had won the first two meetings, and 11 times the team went on to win the third.

How can this not be considered a failure? First game record for #1 NFC seeds since the current playoff format? 17-1. Only losing team? Your 2007 Dallas Cowboys.

Now who's being dramatic.

How is Tony NOT going to improve over last year? He's still pretty cavalier with the ball though, and he probably made more mental mistakes this playoff game than he did against the Seahawks.

So you proved my point. Tony improved over last year. After the way last season ended he proved he is a good Qb in this league. We answered that question so it's not a failure.

I don't think the question was ever whether he was a good QB or not, the reason he was infamous in the off season was the fumbled field goal, not because he cost us the game by throwing 5 picks or something. He still threw a lot of ints this season to go with his td's, and couldn't make it happen for us in the game that mattered the most.
