1000% there is no plan here. This is a dumb front office and what happened this offseason is nothing more than the domino effect of stupidity. Like the Lance trade for example. Cant sign a FA while you have the highest paid 3rd QB in football occupying a roster spot. It doesn’t magically get better from here.
Dumb? Maybe, but more arrogant and inept than anything. Also, pride can be one helluva roadblock to improving things. Jerry and his unhinged thinking/pride coupled with holding grudges, is what's holding this franchise back.

So why watch? Why follow this team? Why keep complaining?

Nothing worse than constantly hearing a grown man grumble, pout and complain. Nothing personal. Just an observation. Why torture oneself and others when one can easily stop following this mess of a team/organization?

Jerry is a crap owner and him and his crap kid have no idea how to build a football team. They both seriously thought they had a real chance, they always do. That delusion is very real even at this very moment when they still think they have a shot. A stupid, overcompensating trade is on the way, you can bet on it.

After doing nothing all offseason, why show desperation now? Crazily that means something stupid will likely happen. SMH. They need to just sit back and take their lumps, hopefully landing in the top 10 of the draft.

I think it's because we all feel invested in the franchise. Many of us been supporting the organization for decades. Me, since 1973. We feel disinfranchised. I think if anything, speaking for just myself, it's good therapy lol. My personal struggles with my wife's health has been hard on me, and this gives me a temporary respit to distract me. If that makes sense. Even though I realize my words won't change the team.

I am amazed Jerry still has people defending him. I defended him longer than most but at some point I had to face reality. I bet Al Davis had people defending him right up to the end. At least Al was responsible for a period of great success. It is pretty clear at this point that any success we had under Jerry was thanks to Jimmy. I used to give Jerry some credit but the longer this goes on the more he damages his own legacy. He is clearly a moron now but that is fine he is 82 years old. The question now becomes was he always a moron.

Many former players supported Al til he died. Loyalty has its price. This is what's happening now with Dallas.

I posted a thread last week and it was ignored, a thread containing a thought of what was the point of paying a QB 260M for this result (3-5).
What was your thought? I have my own. They believe in their process. They have said as much. It's just ongoing. They paid the QB because it was the pragmatic thing to do. They don't take chances anymore. They waited to pay Lamb and Dak so that it appeared to everyone not paying attention that they didn't have cap space for anything else. Otherwise they'd have to answer more questions as to why they are ignoring free agency.

At this point we would have been better off playing Trey Lance and tanking for the #1 pick. Every week, this thread will become more and more realistic and you guys wont be able to run away from this reality.

The real reality is though, someone who is a prominent business man in America paid for this product to be put on the field, specifically 260M worth of his own dime. Let him suffer the consequences now and relish he is definetly having buyers remorse behind closed doors and slamming the bottle over his idiocic decision.

It seems now, still in these press conferences he is delusional enough to let himself believe we still have a chance. A division loss and another primetime gashing by a state rival will change that tune real quick,
The WORST decision our owner continues to make is believing he can lead this team as GM. The winning owners of the last 28 SBs all hired someone else to serve as GM. After 28 straight years of evidence and JJ at 82 still foolishly believing he can lead an NFL team in this modern era is pathetic.

Absolutely correct. Jerry is GM, but he's not as involved as most GMs. He doesn't have to be because he can't be fired. They have a very simple SOP and they stick with it. It is simple to the point of being amateurish.
