This team is stacked, but how do we rein in Dak, use him in an efficient and safe way?

Yes, me frustrated ruffians and pyramid schemers, we shant have any excuses this season.
We appear ready to go with experienced WRs, a Pollard in bloom and a line anchored by Martin.
Defence? Same. Stacked and hungry.

But what do we do with Deek?
How do the coaches minimize our JAG's INTs?
Will Fat Mac truly run the ball more to minimize Deek handling the ball?
Can our JAG resist the temptation to throw into tight windows?
Can Deek be weaned from his security blanket of TE sideline passes or at least learn that TEs can go vertical and into the flats?
Can Deek surrender his INT title to Cousins or Carr?

I say a 65%/35% run-pass ratio of running the ball is good.
Deek needs to be reigned in since we are stuck with him in 2023.

But how?
Holla and brings me a dollah!
Simple get back to his first season. Dink dunk, methodical, smart football.

Don't be afraid to use commas lad.
You need to learn the difference between “rein” and “reign.” But years ago you would have used “rain” so you’re improving. Now let’s get back to Dak or is it Deek?

No..... but they have a penalty for personal insults.

Andy Dalton was a cowboy. You didn't defned HIM then. Wonder why,...HMMM?
My Cincinnati Bengals friends were NOT worth losing over Fake Rifle Leadership...that Dog lost it's hunt 2016.....I was defending Ben DiNucci I wonder Why!!!???..

Dak Haters need a server upgrade

he says that on purpose. he is troll. he wants reaction and he gets it. anything Dak related gets reactions on this board as you know. he knows that ratio is utterly the most stupid thing anyone could say....but he says it anyway...troll!
And you play right along with them. You outta know the first rule of dealing with trolls. But you don't care and it exasperates the situation exponentially.

Moore’s gone and the Calvary is coming so that will change.
I hope. This is a big change and I'm hopeful.
Jon grudens qb camp had km as probably not NFL qb but a good coach. That may be but not yet. Maybe his next gig, after "learning on the job" here....will go well for him.

In the meantime....I want this o line fixed....by "fixed" I mean solidified with the right ( and healthy) personnel and scheme.

Calvary to me means that and a big badd ax tight end.

Oh, yeah, lad. Like we can get some plutonium for the DeLorean and return to his first season.
The NFL called and time travel is not allowed. I could have told you tha because I inquired within about Stauback QBing our team.

But @Rockport wants a CALVARY.
Jesus wept...

The truth is Dak has 65 int's in 97 games in regular season games and in 6 playoff games he has 5.

For his career he has a TD/INT 166–65 ratio.

Does that sound like the definition of a interception leader to you?
The truth is this was in Linehan’s ball control, dumbed down offense. He became a TO machine, whether fumbling or INTs, when he was given more responsibilities as a “franchise” QB. He hasn’t had 2 game stretch if I remember correctly going back to 2019 where he hasn’t committed a TO.

He had 7 TOs in 4 and a half games before he broke his leg and Jerry awarded him that ridiculous contract.

What hath changed?
Well, I shall say with certainty that the big changes are
1. $40 mil and
2. Deek fans who are willing to give Deek an 8th year to win his third career first-round playoff game.

You know what’s wild. Go look at his college stats.

His “great” year which set the bar high was his junior year. The wins against “ranked teams” were obfuscated by the fact they were beaten early, meaning their pre-season rankings were high.

If you look at the next year, you’d think his season was better as a Senior. But the draft reports clearly point out he took a step back. His stats were “better” as he threw the ball 81 more times in the same amount of game, with a 66% completion percentage compared to 61% his junior year, but only 350 more yards. So you are talking about 4 YPA on those 81 extra passes. He threw 29 TDs, meaning 2 more, but 5 less interceptions.

So he basically beat a bunch of bums, stat padding against them, while getting blown out against ranked teams.

The numbers clearly point to him becoming way more conservative to probably knock his INTs down, but showed he was ineffective passing, unless he was running up the score against really bad teams.

Again, what’s changed?
