I am sorry. Enough is enough.

The Sam Williams experiment is over. He is absolute trash. If he isn't getting a braindead penalty he is losing contain, cant set the edge, he is the real life cant get right from the movie LIFE.

You want to show me you have changed the culture. Cut him, cut Murray, cut Elam, cut anyone who doesnt want to be here, or who doesnt show up on game day.

Show this team you are in charge Bryan. Also fire Eberflus while you are at it.

This team on the defensive side needs an exorcism.

On the offensive side. I dont care about the dead money. Cut Steele. Immediately. Honestly I am at the point where I would cut Guyton too, another project pick in the first round.

Start cutting players and show the ones that stay that there is a new word around the Star. And its accountability.

BS should have never gotten the job, at least prove you have some cojones and do something. Platitudes wont help this team. They need authority.
 
Just can't start cutting players. Who will replace them at this point. I understand what you are saying but it is not quite that simple. As the salary cap needs to be taken into consideration.
Cut them now, you owe them the rest of the season pay, and need to consider the 2026 cap hit in dead money. Plus pay a new player for rest of the season.

And a few of those players you say cut, could at least bring a late round comp pick. Better than nothing.
Season is lost anyway, so may as well see what you can get from comp picks or even a trade. Some team may trade for Williams.

Yes, getting tired of Williams and his stupid penalties. He will be gone, as Mazi most likely also.

Can’t get right was 10x the baseball player than Sam Williams is football player.
 
The issue is. No accountability for the front office means no accountability for the players too.

Honestly, from a corporate culture perspective. Do you think the cowboys players truly respect the front office. They respect Jerry the GM? They respect Stephen Jones. Daddy’s boy who has his job thanks to daddy and goes on the radio and flaps his gums about how they have to work harder.

No freaking way. They just don’t say anything out loud about it.

This is your team. Sure you can throw the band off the Titanic first but this ship is a derelict vessel for 2025.
 
Look at whats going on in the current NBA

I’d be crazy to think its not going on in the NFL

Starting with The Cowboys….ill say it now

I think they throw games and have been doing so for YEARS

Guyton is a wasted pick. I dont care if its his second year. He is straight garbage. Cut Steele and move Guyton to RT. See if you can salvage him.

At this point, I would rather give the opprotunities to PS players. Thats how you replace the ones you cut. Williams has no affect on the cap, Steele may, and I dont care. They have the room. Its not like they spend it in FA.

Do you realize they only hit on 1 of ALL of those players this board was raving about during the offseason? 1.
 
Yeah I liked Sam Williams before he was drafted but the guy is dead weight, cut him loose he does nothing but brain dead mistakes.

That's the most disturbing part. Not only is the defense completely devoid of starting talent, there is literally no depth, either. This is a culmination of 5 years of bad to mediocre drafts and sitting out of free agency.

Right- but people want to talk about "culture" or coaching or "accountability". Hogwash. It's simply the lack of quality players.
