This was a different team today

You can say that in a sense.

He wasn't a liability either.

His job, was to follow Dez, and limit him as much as possible, he did that the best he could. Dez made some plays, and so did he.

He lost.

I do think the attitude was different today but not the biggest factor. I think the key was that this was the first game all season where we had more than one defensive lineman on the field getting any pass rush at all.

We control the line of scrimmage. That's what's different. We have been terrible at it for far too long. You can't win that way.

Now I understand why we can do it on offense. That's a talented offensive line. Three blue chip studs, an emerging UDFA find and that other guy.

But the defensive side? I have no answers. Rod Marinelli. I'll just chalk it up to that.

See you believe in the power of Rod now!

We've gone WAY back on OL... JJ finally got it...

I think that less talent with more hunger can work better in some systems than fat and happy with skills.

I'm really not buying the "Cowboys lack talent on defense" mantra anymore. Melton and Spencer have been to Pro Bowls. Mincey is a veteran end. Rolando McClain is proving he was a top ten pick for a reason. Durant has been excellent this year. Carr was the premier corner in free agency a few years ago. Scandrick SHOULD be a Pro Bowler. And Tyrone Crawford, J.J. Wilcox, and Barry Church have really become solid pros.

We were all waiting for Dunbar to make a entrance, and he gashed them underneath early, then Linehan brought in clutts on the clinching drive that opened up big runs for Murray, which then Seattle overreacted to near the goal line.......Romo was clutch, a bit of redemption for him, it was in Seattle years ago on the dropped Field goal hold his distractors started on him.............

This is the team we should have had all along. We have a very balanced team. I'm just amazed at what the defense did today. I think I'm in shock.

Amen! It's shocking that this is the same defense that has been getting gashed in the running game and making JAG QBs look good. Marinelli is the man! I hope NFLN replays the full game so I can see how they did it (Our local Fox affiliate was down for almost the entire first half,,, the bastids)

The D played over their heads; but also the Seattle O line is not all that. And we played containment on Wilson; he does not yet have the skills (may never have them) to beat you solely from the pocket.

Hawks lost.

Funny how we love to gloat and laugh at certain teams/players.

Then when other teams or media members do this, we get all bent out of shape.

Not use to winning I see.

How'd your prediction turn out lol

Get off of my cloud bro. I know you're hurting tonight. Not my problem

I haven't seen that... it was a win against the SB champs... GREAT win....

Incredible win today. I did not see this coming.

If not for the special team mishaps the Cowboys win this one going away.

I haven't felt this good about a win in a LONG time.

Exactly... the depth on this team is key...

I'm not sure if the lights just came on or what... but we are hitting like I haven't seen in 30 years...

This is a team to be reckoned with. One thing I notice is how physical we are...
I actually noticed the physicality about 4 games go. I was like, wow, these guys are aggressive.

Same here. They actually hit hard instead of gently dragging offensive players to the ground.

The tackling has been much better this year.

He's also lacking in receiving weapons. So, when you're not falling for all the misdirection and maintaining your discipline, he has to find targets among a bunch of nobodies.
