Unfortunately, we don't have our 25 year old Aikman to allow for a large window of success.

We have a 34 year old Romo which greatly reduces our window.

Yup that's my biggest fear about this game. Romo and JW have a very small window. 2 years tops. This game was right there for the taking...and it's like it was stolen. The chance to stop talk, stop the hate, shut up the naysayers....snatched right from them.

Now...who knows. Might not see the playoffs again.

Hey so every time we've played the Lions in the playoffs we've won the next year.

1970 - beat the Lions 5-0 and 1971 won the super bowl.

1991 lost to the lions, and 1992 won the super bowl.

2014 beat the Lions...2015???

:p

OMG, you're right!! I didn't think about that!! :)

I also agree that having a older qb who is just one hit away from a career ending injury is not a good way to look at our future. I just hope that we can get another two defensive lineman to go with lawerance and Crawford and maybe we can make the playoffs again next year. also a bad sign next year for us is that in the last five years the winner of the nfc east did not make the playoffs the following year hopefully we can change that.

People can flame me, but Im going to call for Suh

well as much as I can't stand the guy, I couldn't stand Deion or TO either but that didn't stop me from hoping we won a SB with them.
Will come down to a cost-benefit analysis with Suh as he will require we give up someone else good at another position. Melton would free up some money but not enough and Dez is getting paid for sure. Signing Suh and then using our first pick on Orchard would be pretty amazing but if Murray walks away, which I think he will, RB (the running game which is our identity) becomes a dire need and I could tolerate the packaging of our 2nd and 3rd to move way up in the second to get the top RB that makes it out of RD 1, possibly Coleman…..?

It all revolves around the qb position. If he's healthy, we have a chance. That's the NFL. Sell out on defense. Can't rank in the bottom third of the league in sacks. Get some ballhawks. More turnovers to give offense more chances. This team is tough as nails, unlike teams in the past decade. Keep the core and role players intact, just add some key players on defense.

You guys are so predictable.

And your poor attempt at hiding the joy you feel that Jerry once again didn't field a Superbowl team is predictable.

Who cares.

The seasons over. All anyone has to look forward to is the future and hope that it's brighter.

As for me my belief, as it was before the playoffs, is this team was some upgrades on defense away from being a serious contender. This offseason they have to make those upgrades.
