Romo is a good bit older today than Aikman was is 1991.
Unfortunately, we don't have our 25 year old Aikman to allow for a large window of success.
We have a 34 year old Romo which greatly reduces our window.
Hey so every time we've played the Lions in the playoffs we've won the next year.
1970 - beat the Lions 5-0 and 1971 won the super bowl.
1991 lost to the lions, and 1992 won the super bowl.

Yup that's my biggest fear about this game. Romo and JW have a very small window. 2 years tops. This game was right there for the taking...and it's like it was stolen. The chance to stop talk, stop the hate, shut up the naysayers....snatched right from them.
Now...who knows. Might not see the playoffs again.
