Rat poison schmoison!!! Who cares what the media and fans are saying! If anything it should have the opposite effect. They are 4-point dogs and the game was barely over last night and the talking heads were all over the 49ers.

Yeah, the Cowboys have to be on their game on Sunday but so does every other team in the playoffs. It's the playoffs!!! Holy moly with the OP. I guess I consider myself warned! Enjoy the playoffs a little dude! If you are looking for perfection you are watching the wrong sport!!

We have more reasonable and intelligent fans than I thought. I guess they just don't post as much.

That win meant they get to play again next week. They stupified Brady to the point of making him frustrated. I was worried about him getting rid of it too fast for them to get pressure on him, but not only was the coverage really good most of the night, the pressure came fast and unpredictably.
So are you satisfied with the season if they lose next week? I would personally consider the season a failure. NFC title or bust. I should have been more clear by saying the Bucs win meant little to me.

Here we go again. Cowboy fans talking smack for beating an awful TB team. Cowboys players getting all the praise in the media….

If Dallas wants to go any further, and not get embarrassed again by SF, then they will need to hear the criticism again all this week leading into the game.

Diggs? Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic display for a professional football player to avoid contact in a PLAYOFF game

Maher? Unacceptable in a playoff game. If any of you thought it is water under the bridge then you’re fooling yourself. This will come back to bite Dallas. Probably this week.

Offensive line? Could have protected Dak much better against a team with ZERO pass rushers. SF has those dudes and we will see that come Sunday.

Defense? Won’t get a 52 year old man that throws the ball to no one in the dirt over and over again. They have to tighten up their coverage and get more of a pass rush to affect Purdy. SF is faster and more physical than any team Dallas has seen all season long

Don’t take the bait cowboys. This is rat poison and we are all gonna hear it ALL WEEK LONG
Agree 100% on Diggs , Never seen a football player avoid contact at all any cost . Dude is so soft , he should be embarrassed .

I'm not saying I'm satisfied. I'm saying this win meant something because it's step one.

I think OP is largely overestimating the amount of attention the coaches and players will be paying to the media and talking heads on a short week in between playoff games.

And who cares if fans “take the bait” or not.
I’ll take the same wait and see approach I did this past week.
Hope for the best, expect less.
Reminds me of the first time I tried Hog Maws…..hoped for the best and wound up with less.

That's right.

Of course, Dallas should have won that game. Some of us thought we would, some didn't. It's reasonable to consider the GOAT could pull one off in the playoffs. He's done it so many times before. He just didn't have the team this year.

It's not about any single player. It's about the team.

That's what I like about this team.

I know you and I remember the 5-11 seasons. We remember some really bad days, and I still don't remember anyone being so cavalierly ignorant with this whole gambler's fallacy logic, and hatred towards the team, players and coaches.

The newer generation of fans, even some from our generation and before, act so embarrassingly entitled.

To say Diggs was "pathetic" given how short we are on CBs when he was obviously containing enough and pretty much shut down Evans, for all intents and purposes, again, is downright hilarious to anyone who knows what they're talking about.

The fact is, any team can lose. I know that. I just like our chances.

Brady having a bad night , does not overshadow Diggs pathetic play and Fear of tackling . Dude is Pooosy

A B game? Highest QB rating in Cowboys history which includings some HOF QB. if that was Dak B game can't wait to see his A game.
Keep youR skirt on, Ernest.
B means good.
But the first 2-3 series by Dak were horrible.
Then he settled and played very well.
You been awfully uppity since you moved into that double wide, mate.

I don't see a scenario where the media will talk the Cowboys up as favorites except if they are facing the Giants in the NFC Championship at home. I will be worried about "rat poison" then. Because they swept the Giants, have owned the Giants for years, and would be fresh off two road playoff wins.

Talking trash or celebrating a win? Big difference. And the media will be all over the 49’ers. Meanwhile the Cowboys will be reminded of last year over and over again and rightfully so.

You're not alone, many probably feel it was a failure. I've heard the Tampa game as well as the regular season success "didn't mean anything."
I don't feel that way and I don't think it's the least bit reasonable, but then again I tend to find the joy in things.

It was the same before Tampa. Brady this and Brady that. Undefeated vs Dallas. All the records to be broken. Blah blah blah.

I agree especially on Diggs, that guy was a pure embarrassment the way he avoided contact while the other corners had to come in and complete the tackles he chose not to. This guy thinks he's Deion Sanders 2.0 when in reality he is a second year corner that that had a great rookie season but at times has looked pedestrian this year.

Get it in gear Diggs and show some heart, this is the playoffs!

I went back and checked. The 49ers outgained the Cowboys by 34 yards and managed to hold on by 6 points as the Cowboys were driving at the end.
Go watch the highlights. They controlled the line of scrimmage. Ran all over us. They were the more physical team and Dallas will tell you that. But please, read me some more stats.

sanders 21 played that way with us and all teams he played, remember he coined "business decisions". i get it Hes not tackling hard, but many HOF CBs do the same thing, hes not great tackler by nature , doubts its effort but really can we afford to lose diggs on a tackle ? nope,we cant. I undrstand if hes trying to get guy out of bounds or hold him up for help to come to not risk injury at a position we can NOT afford to lose.. calling him pathetic well that an issue with your own personality.

that negative Butt post is unnecessary but go ahead be that fan trying to bring us down. goalposts constantly moved..

preseason :this team had historically bad offseason and wont be any good,, after week one this team will be lucky to win 7 games, after the trade deadline this team does nothing to improve and will be one and done, now they win a playoff game with horrible roister and now its expected of us to go far? since wehn , we are in bounus time now.its al iceing onthe cake because accordig tho this verty payce Jerry was tanking to relaive cap issues and organicalkly tryig to have bad seaopsns but not repalcignall those allaghed stars and not repa;lcing them.. remember all those paosts? I for sure do..been in my mental nmotes to come back anow and say, now what??
