Well it isn't us. All of our top talent is hurt.
Too bad because with a full squad we would of let them have it.
Well it isn't us. All of our top talent is hurt.
I have the same feeling, I haven't been sold on the pats in a long time.
Are you sold on the Spurs yet?
You guys are funny. The Steelers also had Ben Roethlisberger and Antonio Brown, while the Cowboys are trotting out Brandon Weeden and Terrence Williams. Don't do this to yourself man.
Yeah, they havent got caught cheating. Far as I know they play the game the RIGHT WAY.
I'm not doing anything to myself. Take it easy up there on that high horse chief. I was simply stating what the Steelers offense did against their defense and stating that there will be opportunities even with our undermaned, depleted offense. Will they be able to exploit their defense and take advantage of some of the opportunities as well and as often as Roethlisberger and Brown? Probably not, which is why, as I stated in my original post, that I fully expect a loss.
Some of you people are funny. Yeah we are playing the Patriots and they are a great football team. We so happen to be depleted with injuries. Winning seems nearly impossible but good lord man put your big boy britches on and man the hell up. Reading some of you all's comments you would think it's the end of the world because the Patriots are coming to town.
Yeah, I think we'll lose. Does that make you feel better now? That I expect a loss. Now get back to your hopeless pessimistic bane of existance up on that high horse.
They haven't slowed down at all, which means either 1) they're still cheating, 2) they found a new cheat, or 3) they just might actually be pretty good.
I'm not on any high horse, I simply pointed out that the comparison that you made with what the Steelers were able to do with a healthy QB and WR and what the Cowboys could do with Weeden and a bunch of scrubs at WR were foolish, and it is a foolish comparison. How does a fan man up exactly? Are you or me going to suit up and play on Sunday? Last time I checked, we're observing the game and if you're honest with yourself, you would have never made the original post you made. It's okay to cheer for your team, but when you make irrational posts, don't be surprised when someone like me responds to it.
Let's see them beat Brandon Weeden. Then I'll be impressed.
The Patriots defense can be beaten. There will be opportunities down the field and in the running game for our offense. That's not irrational, that's a fact. Whether we take advantage of it is the question, hence my original post. Comparisons, ok let's compare.
The Steelers don't have the talent on the offensive line that we do. They have a backup in at center and also were without that real good running back Bell due to suspension. So they had some deficiencies on offense as well. They weren't nearly as bad off as we are at the moment in the injury department, but they were far from perfect.
If I have to tell you how to man up in any capacity then something must have went terribly wrong for you early in life.
You can pull for the Cowboys in your own miserable way. I'll do it for me my way. I don't think we'll win, but I'm sure our players and some of our fans aren't shaking in their boots and on the ledge like you simply because the big, bad, cheating Patriots are coming to town.
Believe it or not, there are some weakneses in the Patriots game. Not many, but they exist for our team to possibly try to exploit. That's not irrational, that is what hopefully happens on Sunday. The Cowboys exploiting some of those weaknesses. Not to you though. To you we might as well not even have a ballgame. Just chalk it up as a loss. Let's get it over with.
I'm looking forward to the game on Sunday. We might get embarrassed, we might not. We'll probably lose but who knows. There are things and pieces to this team coming back on Sunday and I am looking forward to seeing how they play against the best.
I have the same feeling, I haven't been sold on the pats in a long time.
You will be soon.
I never said that the Steelers were perfect, if they were then they would have won the game. The Steelers at the time were a whole lot better off than this current Cowboy team, that's for sure. You're telling another fan to man up is silly, I'm not playing and neither are you, therefore, I have nothing to "man up" about. The Patriots are definitely not a perfect team, but I don't believe that this
current Cowboys team can do anything with their weaknesses. You based your entire argument on how the Steelers were able to exploit some areas, while at the same time
forgetting the fact that they had their starQB and star WR in order to do so.
The Cowboys don't have either, and the offensive line isn't playing that well either. That's all I was saying. I'm looking forward to the game as well, because I'm anxious to see how Hardy and RoMac looks.
Why is that? Because they could beat us with no romo,Dez ect?
No, because they are the best team in the league.
