I’m not the biggest LVE fan, but you’re correct if you base the opinion off of this one play. If you look at his work the entire game he was the best he’s been in a long while.
you don’t judge a players game off 1 bad play in a game. I could go find 2 dozen good plays he made in other games.
Agreed with those in saying do not judge a player off one lone play.
It's a game evaluation grade,.. not a single play evaluation.
II admit i'm not a fan of LVE, and will still want an upgrade over him... but for this particular game vs Texans. he balled out. He was very active, he was in pursuit, and guess angles,
and he's always been an OK-decent guy in coverage and space.
It was run defense play, his pursuit, and tackling at the line, that stood out in this specific game.
As far as the season in it's entirety, then we just have to have a bigger impact and better overall player.
