Trap Game. Thats my thoughts.
I think GB game was the trap game. I said as.much and people attacked me....we were looking forward to show down with vikings and it showed. We were more talented. They were struggling. We thought we show up and win. We played sloppy. We panicked in the end. And it showed.

I don't think We are going to take Colts lightly.... hopefully they learned their lesson. Not looking ahead yet. Next week is Texans. So I expect them to be ready.

yeah I recall. I said the same thing back then too. You would hope we have learned. We shall see.

we must match their running game. If we don't we might take the L. I expect them to run the daylights out of it all day, or try to. This game will be about the defensive ends holding the edge and staying home...CONTAIN. No hero ball. All we need the Dt's to do is to slow down and minimize the run. Keep everything contained inside. If we fail, the colts will hurt us badly on the edges. Dak must play within himself...a clean game. I think we may see Turpin have a return for a TD in this game. He's due.

My only thought is an NFL team with nothing to lose is always dangerous ...... Now saying that I expect us to smash them.

The Colts defense has been real good it ranks fifth, which is one spot ahead of the Cowboys. However, their offense hasn’t been good and Matt Ryan looks washed up. They’ve lost some close games this season and don’t give up a lot of points. They did beat Kansas City earlier in the season. If we take them for granted and don’t show up to play on Sunday they could derail our season. The Cowboys are going to have to be really focused the next three weeks and not get caught looking ahead to Philly.

I forgot to mention Indy gave Philly a battle. They had them beat and couldn’t hang on.

If this team is different from previous teams, this should be a blood bath.
If we get out ahead of the Colts by even 10 points, it should be a wrap.
The Colts offensive line is shaky. Ryan is a shell of his former self. There was a reason he was benched before the coaching change.
The only blue-chip weapon they have is Jonathan Taylor, and even he isn't playing to last year's standards.
If they have to rely on Ryan, Parsons should have his first five-sack game.
If Dak plays within himself and Kellen Moore doesn't revert back to Kellen Moron with a game-plan of pass, pass and pass, this should be a cake-walk.

I think we're better off on both sides of the ball. Their weak OL will play into our strengths with regards to our hard pass rush. Here's hoping Dak has one of his better days, with a healthy Zeke and Pollard to wear their defense down and our OL having been fortified. We're favored by 11 points. I'm extremely hopeful that we will cover that foretold advantage. Being at home should help, if we play with energy, confidence, aggression and no flags.

Jonathan Taylor and a fairly stout defense, that the Steelers somehow amassed 180+ on the ground against. Held the Chiefs and Eagles (both at home) to 17 points.

I've always liked their uniform. It's a close second to the Cowboys'.

I guess it depends if the league will allow us to win or not since these games are apparently rigged according to another thread:laugh:

The Cowboys played the Colts in Super Bowl 5. It was the Cowboys first SB. They lost 16-13 on a last minute field goal by a rookie kicker.

15 years old and I was devastated.

The Colts played in Baltimore at the time.

Stunned at the lack of thought with so many posts in this thread. Not surprised w/BfE's shallow post.

Indy allowed only
17 points to Chiefs
17 points to Eagles

That "big" Patriots win where they scored 26 on Indy? Bel's boys barely managed 200 yards. Got fluke points.

Let that sink in. Colts might want to tank. But if they come to play...get some help from zebras? Won't be runaway.

Colt's strength is their defense. Game will likely be closer than expected. Could look "messy."
