We should win by double digits. I just hope the team comes ready to play after the mini bye…

This ought to be the biggest win of the season so far. Yes, even bigger than the 40-3 blowout of the Vikings. The Colts are a bad team with an inexperienced head coach and an aging QB that is only a shell of his former self. Too many posters here are showing too much respect for the Colts.

Stunned at the lack of thought with so many posts in this thread. Not surprised w/BfE's shallow post.

Indy allowed only
17 points to Chiefs
17 points to Eagles

That "big" Patriots win where they scored 26 on Indy? Bel's boys barely managed 200 yards. Got fluke points.

Let that sink in. Colts might want to tank. But if they come to play...get some help from zebras? Won't be runaway.

Colt's strength is their defense. Game will likely be closer than expected. Could look "messy."
With saying that, they also

-Tied a 1 win Houston team
-Shutout 24-0 by Jacksonville
-Scored 3 points at New England

We match up well against their receivers and with Braden Smith out it hinders their rushing attack.

Don’t turn it over and make Ryan go 80 yards and we will win

Dallas needs to just run this one into the ground and get out. Don't have to be fancy.

Call Davis if you have too. Dallas is just the better team. 35 runs and 20 passes.

Our tes scored their monthly tds last week against the Giants so it will prolly be a low scoring affair of fgs

We're coming off a layoff and we're usually slow at firing afterwords

Were also coming off 2 straight handily wins and Indy 2 straight losses

This is a non division game against a turf pedigree'd opponent 50/50 w no real home field advantage

Indy has 2 big athletic tes in Cox and woods and our lbs aren't usually that great against good tes

I think we have the better ol and Dl and should win the game if we play our best football

And I picked the Cowboys to beat the Vikes and the Giants

But its hard for our vanilla offense to be consistent 3 games in a row and carry the scoring averages

And Ryan is coming off a couple of bad games and is due for a better performance

I wouldn't bet on the colt to win but If woods and cox play Id definitely take the points

I could see the last team to get the ball to win it.

This SHOULD be the match up that allows Parsons to be handed DPOY early with a 4 sack game or TFLs on Taylor if they protect the tin man at QB from harm.

Nothing too cute, just focus. If we have genuine aspirations of a deep playoff run, these games need put away early without drama.

We'll see come Sunday (or Monday morning for me in the UK)!!!!

Haven't seen much of the AFC South Teams, here is what I've heard about the Colts:

Offense

-Clearly the best unit is their Defense. Have 2 players to worry about along the DL: Buckner who we all remember with the 49ers and Ngakoue. Both players can give the Cowboys troubles. Their all pro linebacker Leonard is out for the season.

-They like to use overload blitzes, they will try to confuse our Tackles which man they have in protection.

-Stephon Gilmore like Patrick Peterson a few weeks ago, isn't the same player, the Cowboys can have success going after him. They also will be starting a backup corner on the other side, just like Minnesota needed to do.

Defense

-Jonathan Taylor can potentially be a game wrecker for the Cowboy Defense. However, their OL has struggled throughout the season in both the run and the pass. Still another legitimate challenge for our run defense.

-Colts receivers jump out at you with their size and length. Pittman, Pierce, Woods are huge targets. Pittman is the best out of the group, where Diggs should matchup well against. Pierce is the one who can beat you down the field.

-Due to inability to protect, the Colts passing attack is underneath without much of a deep, passing game. Ryan isn't very mobile and takes a ton of sacks.

-Pretty much the same strategy as last week, take away the run, win the game. I bet the Colts will have a similar game plan as the Giants, try to have Ryan do a lot of bootlegs and quick passes to stay away from the Cowboys pass rush. They will try to loosen up the defense with an early shot down the field. Force them to score points.

Special Teams

-Nothing of note to discuss.

I agree with this. Our pass rush could feast tonight, but we need to stop the run first. Jeff Saturday will run the ball early and often. Stop that and we win easy.

Other than in clear passing situations, Dan Quinn and the front seven need to focus on stopping the run. Matt Ryan and the Colts pass protection will do the rest for them. Their struggles, and Ryan’s lack of mobility will make sacks easy to come by. Under appropriate circumstances.
