Thoughts about the Giants

Up until Sunday, he (Garrett) and GM, Gettleman, were neck and neck for being the guy the fans most wanted to leave town. We are all holding our breaths waiting to see if this past Sunday was an aberration or has Garrett finally learned- this is 2021, not 1990 anymore.

I really hope he still thinks it's 1990 since he's not with the Cowboys anymore. :D

Blake Martinez is very underrated. Without him, I just don't see them stopping our running game. If we don't lose the turnover battle we will win.

I doubt you lose the turnover battle. You usually get 2 pics, we get 1. I think we have only gotten one fumble recovery all year; you got 2 your first game i believe. Plus, Jones has been known to fumble…Dak, not much.

You keep telling yourself that.

They'll have them ready because they are good coaches.
So, head coaches don't do anything??? Is that what you're saying? I don't know if you ever strapped them on or been part of a coaching staff, but if you did, your HC must have sucked or you just didn't open your eyes.

yo what happened to the milk carton homie RG tore it up :)) need to get the crow prepared you like it rare, medium or well done LOL

Did you not read my sig?

Gregory's game was all in my face ...... I hope he makes me eat crow all year long.

Their offense is the primary concern. They’ve exploded against defenses regarded as talented before the season began. It wouldn’t shock me if the game was similar to the one last year in Dallas.

I get to see the majority of Giants games being from NYC, have a good handle of their strengths and weaknesses:

-Giants biggest offensive weapon is Daniel Jones legs. Majority of their big plays come from him running, not passing the football.

-Barkley is slowly coming back from knee surgery, last week was by far his best game of the season

-Their TE has elite speed, but struggles badly with drops, especially in crucial times.

-Have a lot of talent at WR, but have some injuries and still trying to get on the same page.

-OL is still a big issue for them, but not their former #4 pick Thomas, having a strong season.

-Defense has played a lot of soft zone coverage.

-Run defense not as strong without Tomlinson and now Martinez. DE's are real power players.

-Struggle generating any pressure, outside of their rookie Ojulari.

-Outside corners are good.

-Kicker is real good, had a very long streak broken last week with conversions.

-Judge has been real conservative this season.
Being local as you are, I can verify that you are 100% accurate on all.

Think I'm the only guy around here who wanted Ojulari. Not happy he went there....in the second round. They stole him.

Division games for me are a toss up. Throw out records and logic. Dallas SHOULD blow them out, but probably won't.

This is way past sour grapes stage, but IMO Garrett is holding that team and Jones back. He can stay as long as they will have him as far as I'm concerned.

I believe if you remove McCarthy from the team we'd still have a good team.

I believe if you remove Quinn or Moore from the team then we'd not be as good team of a team.

Moore and Quinn are the difference makers.

As I was saying yesterday. If you have your bar set at that bum Jason Garrett then McCarthy is great compared to that, but simply being better than Garrett is not enough for me. I expect much better from that, because the Jason Garrett bar isn't very high. McCarthy is the weak link.

lets discuss the ugly elephant in the room game 5 last year who was it? where was it ,who got hurt? the ultimate way to even this out of say Martin goes down, tyron goes down or dak goes down..we are far from unstoppable and the only place i see is auto loss is this dak goes out early whos finishing the game?

RUSH! :facepalm::eek:
If Dak goes down then sure. We don’t even have Dalton here so yeah that would change things significantly….but if anyone else got hurt? Next man up like they’ve done all year.

So I take it you have no experience in a locker room and coaches meetings. Cool

And they will, because MM will make sure of it.
I’m disturbed that this fanbase doesn’t see what a well coached team looks like. Like I’ve said in other threads, Garrett has this fanbase looking for flaws in McCarthy that simply every head coach does. I mean I see it every week there’s head coaches, some who people LOVE go out there unprepared with crappy coaching.

What it comes down to is fans due to how this organization runs itself have no idea who does what. Instead of admitting their ignorance they chose arrogance.
