Thoughts about the Giants

The Giants are better than their record indicates.

I don't, but I lived it for forty years as a player and coach, so I feel comfortable with what I say.
So do I.

I am confident that Kellen Moore will be the next head coach unless McCarthy make a Super Bowl run and stops making bone head decisions. You should know how Jerry feels about his home grown guys and how he is different with them. You're fooling yourself if you think Jerry is going to just allow Moore to walk into someone else arms over keeping McCarthy around.

The bone head decisions haven't costed us yet, but when and if they do is when the rumblings will start.

I would agree, except for this past Sunday. Finally he let the horses run and got Barkley out in space….finally. I hope that wasn’t a one and done thing.

Make no mistake about it, we will get the freckled puppet's best shot!

Let’s get up early so they have to get away from the run game. Get pressure and sacks. This last game our D-Line really came together. Hope Diggs comes up with a pick 6 or 2. Run the ball down there throats. Go over the top. I think it’s Jarwin that usually has big games against them.

I expect a hard-fought division game.

This is one we shouldn’t take for granted.

Giants suck I don’t want I hear anything about “taking them lightly” or “underestimating” them. They suck. Their offense is inept and it’s the same predictable offense we complained about we hated.

Their defense has proven to be overrated.

They have solid names on offense.

Solid players on defense.

Coaching is terrible.

Im trying to find a way to see how we lose this game…..I just can’t see it.
NFC east games are never black and white for the most part. Barkley is still not back 100% IMO, he is still formidable. I think we are a better talented team and our QB is better which is normally the tie breaker for any game. I also expect their very best effort.

Ok I think the fact you think someone wants your attention is weird but ok. Let’s go with that narrative lol.
I don't care a single bit about a thing you and a few others on here have to say. You keep wasting your time begging for my attention though. It's cute.

I believe if you remove McCarthy from the team we'd still have a good team.

I believe if you remove Quinn or Moore from the team then we'd not be as good team of a team.

Moore and Quinn are the difference makers.

As I was saying yesterday. If you have your bar set at that bum Jason Garrett then McCarthy is great compared to that, but simply being better than Garrett is not enough for me. I expect much better from that, because the Jason Garrett bar isn't very high. McCarthy is the weak link.
He needs to work on clock management. But I will give him and the OC and DC, heck the whole staff is getting done right now so I give them all credit because if this season was going south then MM would be getting a lot of blame.

I get to see the majority of Giants games being from NYC, have a good handle of their strengths and weaknesses:

-Giants biggest offensive weapon is Daniel Jones legs. Majority of their big plays come from him running, not passing the football.

-Barkley is slowly coming back from knee surgery, last week was by far his best game of the season

-Their TE has elite speed, but struggles badly with drops, especially in crucial times.

-Have a lot of talent at WR, but have some injuries and still trying to get on the same page.

-OL is still a big issue for them, but not their former #4 pick Thomas, having a strong season.

-Defense has played a lot of soft zone coverage.

-Run defense not as strong without Tomlinson and now Martinez. DE's are real power players.

-Struggle generating any pressure, outside of their rookie Ojulari.

-Outside corners are good.

-Kicker is real good, had a very long streak broken last week with conversions.

-Judge has been real conservative this season.
I dont think the Giants arw a terrible team. I just think they arent strong enough anywhere to be good. They seem like a team likely to win 5 or 6 games, but with a few bounces could have won 8. Not getting those bounces is probably better for them in the long run, because they impact players to turn games. They really dont have that anywhere.

Their WR core is 4 deep with good players. Koney had a nice game yesterday. However right now there isnt a guy you absolutely must take away. Getting Barkley rolling probably helps.

Like you said, OL is a big issue for them, but Thomas is a major really for them to be optimistic. Most likely he moves to LT next year, however they may add Neal, Green or Penning depending on where they pick. Even taking one of those guys Thomas may still be their LT, especially if its Green.
