LVE said he thought the speed of the game was going to be faster. This seems like he thought it was OK. I hope he can be more critical of himself and push to improve.

yeah he probably felt pretty good about it
until Coach Lee put the film up and showed him all the **** he did wrong and all the plays he left on the field

Typical 4 3 defenses have bigger MLB. I don't see Jaylon as a prototypical MLB.

Me personally, I am a little disappointed.

I'm not sure what you expected for his first game. I know he's a 1st round pick, but I think it's a little unrealistic for anyone to expect him to be comparable to even Jaylon Smith in the recognition area. Two of his most impressive plays were when he carried the TE down the seam 20+ yards - he forced the QB to try to throw over him. The QB was able to lob it and drop it perfectly on one, but was high on the other for an incompletion.

Lavonte David isnt the biggest guy either, like 6'1-6'2. Patrick Willis was also in that range.
