Both the Eagles and the Giants look capable of attacking the weakness of the Cowboys defense. (Please get and stay healthy Ro)

The Cowboys shouldn't have much trouble getting their points against either of them though.

The Skins.... lol

If Eli keeps playing like he did last night and their offense continues to improve they are the biggest threat imo.

It's still early though. It's hard to tell what's what until we get to November.

The Giants have looked horrible so far this season. And then last night, I don't know what happened. I agree, though, that Eli was getting that ball out of his hand lighting quick last night, and he looked tough to stop. At least, for the Commanders.

How does everyone feel about our standing and our rivals right now?

I'm really not sure what to make of any team right now (including us). We've had some extreme ups and downs, from the worst game of Romo's career against SF, to the most efficient game of the Garrett era against Tenn, to a horrible showing followed by the biggest comeback in franchise history against STL.

Then you look at Philly. Started the season against Jax worse than we started against Tenn only to have a dominant second half, then had an impressive win over a Colts team who is better than their record suggests, then had an epic division battle and squeaked out a win against Washington. They're 3-0 at the moment but they've definitely looked beatable, and Foles looks like he's come back down to Earth.

Then you have Washington. They looked awful against a Texans team who got manhandled by the Giants, but they looked great against a Jaguars team who scared Philly. Then they had the epic game against Philly where they barely lost. And just last night they got embarrassed by the Giants (which I'll get to next). It looked like the RGIII injury would allow Cousins to make this team a legit contender, but Cousins looked so bad against NY. Was it a fluke?

Finally, you have a Giants team who most experts and fans thought would be battling for the 1st overall pick in the 2015 draft. Well, they're 2-2 and coming off an impressive win over Washington. They started the season how we expected getting destroyed by a mediocre Lions team, then they lost to a very good Arizona team, but then they went on to win 2 straight, handling a Texans team that was 2-0 at the time, and then destroying Washington last night.

So, can anyone make anything out of any of this? Giants = 2 blowout wins and 2 blowout losses, Philly = 3-0 but not an impressive win yet (maybe against Indy), Dallas = ups and downs, and Washington = looking awful with their only win being a 41-10 annihiliation of the Jaguars.

Anyone care to decipher this?

Chaos = NFC East

You can go to extremeskins for a few good laughs. For the most part, their fans pretty much threw in the towel for the season after last night.

Yeah, I try to stay as far away as possible from that place. It is awful no matter what team you pull for.

I usually go to CPND. I've been going there since about 2001 and there are a lot of good, knowledgeable fans there. Of course they are Commander fans, so there is that. And after last night, they're all looking for a hot bath and a cold razor, too.

Some are really great fans though. I've been talking football with a few of them for almost a decade now. They tolerate me being there, but you gotta watch what you say. There a bit touchy since Snyder bought the team.

Philly - Last year's division winner. Looking pretty good but not great. Offense is scary.

Dallas - Definitely has a chance to overcome Philly for the top spot. Probably the most physical team in the NFC East, and that will always give you a shot.

.
NY - Who knows what you will get with them. Horrible first two games and then pretty good the last two.

Washington - Even Zorn was able to win 6 of his first 8 games before teams figured out the new coach. Gruden looks... um, overmatched. :lmao:

Giants:

Defense:
D line is looking solid and they continue to be the disruptive Giants we've come to know and hate. The pass rush allows their secondary to jump routes and gamble more often.

Offense:
Eli has a new friend and his name is Larry. Eli makes and breaks the tempo. Last night he looked unstoppable and in the first two weeks he looked like a QB who should be holding a clipboard.

Commanders:
Defense:
Front 7 is solid. Without Hall they will continue to get torched and put a lot of pressure on their offense.

Offense:
Morris is their horse, and if they continue to struggle with TO's, the more pressure it puts on Kirk. Reed can't stay healthy, Garcon is inconsistent and Desean just isn't the same Desean who would command a lot of attention.

Eagles:
Defense:
Solid group upfront. They have motors in Barwin and Kendricks. The Dline is scrappy, but aside from Jenkins their secondary is nothing to fear

Offense:
Explosive! They have the weapons that can impose their will at defenses and they have plenty of speed to create problems in any DC's gameplan. Foles is proving to be the future of the team. My knock on him is his ability to move in pocket to avoid pressure.

Cowboys:
Defense:
We need players back and gelled. It's a young defense that struggles to cause pressure. LB corps needs more time together so they can build continuity. Secondary needs to step up and help create TO's

Offense:
Run game is doing wonders for us. Our Oline is the best in the division. This will come handy once season wears on. Receiving corps is deep and we have plenty of weapons for an aerial assault.

I'm hoping the Eagles lose a few before their o-line gets back at full strength, because it's the best in the NFL when healthy. A fully healthy Eagles offense can overcome a lot of their crap defensive play by dropping 30+ every Sunday. I still see us there at the end though.
