From a guy Hail26...

I work in a nightclub in Las Vegas and I got a chance to meet and talk to Sean Salisbury (of ESPN) last night. After throwing back numerous shots of Southern Comfort and Lime, we talked about the Skins. Long story short, He says Brunell is terrible and one of the worst QB's in the league. And the only reason Jason Campbell doesnt play is because he is not smart and does not understand the playbook. He also says Sean Taylor is one of the meanest SOB's in the NFL. He was a nice guy and got SUPER hammered.

Not much news around here, so I thought I would post. Not that I would trust anything that comes out of SS's mouth. Just thought it was pretty funny how hammered SS gets and how word is that the future of Commanders offense is not too swift. Probably a good reason he isn't ready to take MBs place. What did they give up a first and second for him?:lmao:
I bet Sean does get hammered all the time and goes out and gives wet-willies and wedgies to John Clayton.

It never ceases to amaze me how arrogantly cocky Sean Salisbury can be. He was one of the worst quarterbacks to ever grace the NFL, but he enjoys rating the abilities of other quarterbacks. Of course, he gets paid for his 'unique' perspective, but my only question for him is...

..."How the hell does HE know what a 'good quarterback' is"?

Agreed. Coming from a guy like Jaws, I'll entertain anything. From Salisbury, I wouldn't buy an evaluation of a junior varsity qb.

There's a thread on that site bi-weekly that goes "I just got back from______, and I met (insert famous person with football connections). He told me (something I already believe that might ruffle some feathers). He also told me (something else I believe, and everyone else will love)."

Then, someone calls BS.

Then, the thread originator says "I don't care if you believe me or not. This is what happened. I just thought it would be nice to share. Maybe I won't in the future."

I wonder how close I came.

Oh.....and I call BS.

:laugh2:

On that subject:

I just got back from Disneyland and I saw this guy http://cache.********.com/sports/johnclaytonhair.jpg on the ride, "It's a Small World Afterall," and he said Sean Salisbury is always hitting on him.

He also picked Dallas to win the Super Bowl.

Hey, just thought I would share with you all.

Did he also mention that Sean Taylor isn't the sharpest tool in the shed either?

I saw SS hammered once in Austin after a UT game, and he was drinking SoCo (don't remember lime). He dumbs down (Madden-izes) his persona for TV, but I think he knows what he talks about when it comes to QB's. Denny Green tried to talk him into joining his coaching staff as a QB coach in Arizona, and Denny Green has a pretty impressive offensive resume.

the story is obviously a fabrication. c'mon... Southern Comfort and lime?

:omg: :ralph: :puke: :ralph: :puke: :ralph: :omg:

You've never done shots of SoCo and lime? Man, that's probably one of the best things on Earth.

Al Saunders has ZERO confidence in Campbell's ability to run the offense. Saunders lives right up the street from me, and while I've never met him, I do know neighbors of his who have said that he's scared to death at the prospect of Campbell playing.

Please no... brings up bad memories from last night.

Actually, the only thing I remember about that shot was thinking "**** that's sour." Maybe I should try one when I'm sober.
