We either get Boldin or Williams with 1 of our 1's or we trade up with Oak or KC for both of our 1's for Dmac. One of these guys needs to be acquired.

No trade with 4 or 5 then Dmac is gone at 6. If the receivers are out of the question then Dmac has to be the choice.

Hoping Jerry has some Dmac up his sleeve!!:D

Or he can't get WOW because it would cost too much. I honestly don't want Jerry to overpay for WOW, that kind of thinking cost us two 1st round picks when we got Joey "Not really as WOW as you think" Galloway.

Doesn't matter, he wasn't worth what we gave up.
yeah but it doesn't help when you got bums throwing to him. anyways #22 and #28 is not too much for Dmac.

No one knows if it's too much, he's not bust-proof, no one is.

I never considered Gallowastes as "Wow".

I did, however, say "Wow, that was a dumb freakin' trade".

"WOW" players won us 3 superbowls in the 90's. We don't have as many "Wow" players now as we did then.

Trading up for Tony D paid off.

Trading up for Emmitt Smith paid off.

If we traded up for DMAC and he became good enough to mention in the same sentence as TD and ES, then it will have been a good trade.

IMO it's way too much. I'm not in favor of a running back until later. Secondary help is more of a need, and providing the quality is available, some combination of the two in round one would help.

Exactly, how could anyone assume he's worth both the first rounders or not?
There have been plenty of hyped up college players that turn into busts, especially at Running Back.

I for one think McFadden will be a good pro, and would love to see him in Dallas. If we cant trade one of the 1st rounders for Roy Wiliams or Anquan Boldin then i would probably go for that McFadden trade.

There is a significant talent drop off around pick 20, the value at 22 may be to trade down anyway, so the chances of getting an impact player there is a risk.

If we had traded two first rounders and god knows what else to get Reggie Bush, people would be pissed right now and when Reggie came out, people made it sound like he was going to dominate the NFL. Whoops.

1. Dallas trades its 2 first rounders, its 2nd rounder, its 5th rounder and Akin Ayodele to Kansas City in exchange for KC's 1st and 2nd round picks. Dallas then selects Darren McFadden with KC's first (#5 overall) and DB Antoine Cason with KC's second (#35 overall).

2. Dallas trades its 3rd and 4th rounder to move up into the 3rd round, possibly seeking help at WR, NT or ILB.

3. Dallas trades its 6th round pick to Tennessee for Pacman

4. After the draft, Dallas trades its 2009 first rounder to Detroit for WR Roy Williams, OR Cincinnati caves in late in the summer and accepts a trade for Chad Johnson.

5. Dallas uses its 7th rounder on either CB help or OL.

For those in the know, Dallas has a STRONG trade history with Kansas City.

Well, I for one, would rather have one true impact player at one of our holes on offense than 2 ordinary players to fill both holes on offense. Whether it is a RB (DMac) or a vet WR (the list), I don't really care. But hoping we hit the lottery with someone late being a player isn't a smart gamble for a team with Super Bowl hopes.

At some point, we will draft a CB, but we have neglected offense, especially great young players, for far too long. The other teams around us are improving, we need to do more than just maintain what we had last year and adding rookie benchwarmers.

Our biggest need is at cb and needs to be addressed first IMO.

the Latest seems to be the Jets moving up ahead of Oak to grab Dmac. They fear Oak trading out of #4 or Oak taking Dmac themselves.

Come on Jerry, Get it Done!

Dmac in JJ's role and Barber the Barbarian the closer, that's where he is best at. Dmac is good for at least 10 td's and Barber another 10.

22 and 28 Will Not Bring Superstar quality to the Boys. Dmac and Romo...what a team.

Yes, but if 3rd CB is our biggest need......well we don't have any big needs really. We got our last guys who filled this role in the 7th round. Sure we could do better, draft them in the 2nd or 3rd, but the point is, when is the last time we made offense a priority?? Sure we have Ware and TNew, but we also have Roy, Carp, and Spears. You can hit and miss with defense just as easy as offense.

I just think a team as good as ours can afford to add an impact player at this point. Pacman still is a chance, if you get him and a 2nd or 3rd round CB, that position will be fine really. It is obvious that our dreams of one of our firsts only for one of those vet WRs won't happen, so we might have to increase the offer.

We do need a impact RB or vet WR, they will have alot more impact on this team than any 3rd CB will have presently.
