1. People who thrive on the high profile only come to hunger it more. Ask Bilbo or Frodo...or Sméagol--the cravings only grow.***(MAM: Does this mean Jerry has hairy feet?) Sitting in the late twenties is far too close to plebeian anonymity and meaninglessness for Jerry's taste, particularly coming off the giddy success of the NBA all-star game and some long awaited playoff success. He didn't like missing the first round last year and drafting in the high twenties feels like a repeat of the same.***(MAM: In 2008, we drafted Felix Jones and Mike Jenkins past pick 20. In 2007, we drafted Anthony Spencer past pick 20. In 2006, we took Bobby Carpenter with the 18th pick. So, I don't see where you're going with this.)
