Three things I know about situation on draft

1. We are not trading up! Can't make it any simpler for those of you in that spectrum. Listen to JJ, JG & SJ
2. We aren't drafting Zeke..... Again listen & pay attention to what we've done the last 2 off seasons in regards to that position.
3. We aren't drafting Tunsil.... Not really much to say here, other than the holes in our D to back up that statement, along with the Green pick last year{which is going to surprise people}

Just don't get these lines of thinking.... It's laughable but maddeness as well......

We are taking the best D player or trading down, no way are we giving up draft picks & going up

1. Don't know about that. If they really like the "left over" guy between Wentz and Goff...

2. Don't know about that either, especially if they trade down a couple spots.

3. Don't be so sure. He's potentially better than Tyron Smith, who has played right tackle before.

I think they're going to trade back.

Yeah, it probably won't happen but he's a great pick no doubt about it. I think if the Cowboys did draft him other teams would give up something good for him.

I agree. I do think that we will listen to trade downs at our pick for sure. If the two QB's and Ramsey are gone, then the likelihood of a trade down drastically increases.

Someone would be willing to trade up in that case. Do the 49ers need a OT? If so I would say trade with them, and grab Zeke or Bosa

Tunsil better than Smith? Doubtful.... But he may be a player some team is willing to trade up to 4 for.

Maybe not but bad reasoning. Last season we let Murray go because we did not want to invest a second contract, we did show a ton of interest in a running back in the draft though. If Gurley or Gordon slipped, I think they would be Cowboys. I also think we would've used our second on a running back if arguably the best pass rusher in the draft didn't fall in our laps. We visited every prospect, it just didn't shake out.

As far as this offseason? We had a price but we showed confirmed interest in Forte and Miller and even inquired about Murray. I see a team that knows they need to upgrade their running back position. I also see us spending resources researching Zeke and Zeke himself saying that us and the Eagles have shown the most interest. They may not draft him but it's obvious the team values the position, at least based on their confirmed behaviors this offseason.

Not often but it has happened before. Eli and Rivers, steve Wasnuski/Cowboys to Raiders. John Elway to Denver.
