Three things I know about situation on draft

Well, he would be the BPA
;
Yes... He would also have the highest value... an outstanding college LT... teams will come calling... wouldn't bother me one bit if we drafted him....
It makes more sense to trade the pick in this scenario... but only if a team makes a great offer... wouldn't shock me if Dallas selected him and traded him
before the top half of round 1 is over... if he's even there... San Diego should run to the stage to pick him.

If guys on Twitter can spew crap.... Figured why not me
1. We are not trading up! Can't make it any simpler for those of you in that spectrum. Listen to JJ, JG & SJ
2. We aren't drafting Zeke..... Again listen & pay attention to what we've done the last 2 off seasons in regards to that position.
3. We aren't drafting Tunsil.... Not really much to say here, other than the holes in our D to back up that statement, along with the Green pick last year{which is going to surprise people}

Just don't get these lines of thinking.... It's laughable but maddeness as well......

We are taking the best D player or trading down, no way are we giving up draft picks & going up

Agree entirely (except that Green is going to 'surprise' anyone).

Pretty sure you're right on all three.
1-no, not trading up. Good grief
2-not taking Zeke at 4 (would not rule out later though)
3--Maybe #3 is debatable, but only in the case we couldn't find a decent trade partner...which is unlikely.

So...3 for 3. IMO

I'm really looking forward to hearing from all of you who are so confident we're not drafting Elliot when we draft Elliot, it will be funny.

At 4?

I'd love to have Elliott, but I don't see it happening at 4.
A nice move would be to get him later maybe. But no, not at 4. Just don't see it.

Sure, check back in with me on Thursday night

Correct, we most likely won't be drafting Tunsil. First, I expect Clev or SD to take him. However, if Tunsil is there at 4, I am pretty confident Jerry Jones and Co. already have multiple offers and the phone will be ringing off he hook come draft day. Balt makes a lot of sense to begin with trading down. Balt needs OL help. Jerry could then trade down even further.

Best Case scenario for the Cowboys and a trade down is if the draft goes Goff, Wentz, Ramsey in the top three. About ten teams might be looking to trade with the Cowboys for Tunsil.

Also, the Cowboys could take Tunsil at 4 and hold him until they work a trade later in the round and get to see which players are still available.

Two and three are correct. Doubt one happens. The pick will either be QB or defense.

I would just love to buy some of those "see the future clearly" glasses you own. Now, since you know all this stuff and for sure have it 100% right...
Tell us who their going to pick at #4 and if, (when) you're wrong leave the zone forever...

So Jerry is just flying to Cali for the hell of it?

We have used up some of our 30 visits having all of the big 3 QBs come to Valley Ranch, just pissing away those limited national visits?

If we are taking defense, then why the hell are we even bothering with these high first round QBs? Just for chits and giggles?

Gotta have a trade partner to move down and who is really needing to move up if Lynch's value is very late first or even mid-2nd? Lots of players are falling due to health...Jack... attitude and party behavior...Bosa....or lack of overall position in the secondary...Ramsey...so who is moving up?

But I do agree with all of your thoughts...but man getting Tunsil to finally dump Free would be HUGE!!! Imagine a line that is strong left to right and able to dominate at all levels...you could then worry about defense and a QB...

Yup....

Ummmm what? Joey Bosa will be a ten year starter in this league.

doubt it. In the right situation he might do okay.

But I see him as a a journeyman.....just filling a need, for whatever team.

He is significantly higher rated as a college player than Tyron was.

he's going to go higher certainly, but I don't know if he's considered a better prospect than Smith. Tunsil didn't run the 40 and most other agility drills so we can't compare him in that regard, but I think Tunsil would not go higher than Smith did if he were in the 2011 and Smith were in the 2016 draft.

Based on their dealings on the rb position, they will flat out not take a rb in the first. They could trade down twice and end up with a first and 3 2nds and still not take a rb at pick 31.
