I think everyone needs to cool it down on escobars blown coverage td...I don't see it yet with him and I would have liked if we sured up the oline or dline in the second

At least he took advantage of it but yes, it was a blown coverage.

Have to admit on the day of the draft, I was like "what" but now it is looking like a great pick. In fact based on yesterday, our 1st three rounds of picks are looking pretty good. Wasn't a fan of any of them at the time but looks like we hit on a pretty good draft overall.

I think he's played well, I liked the pick when it was made. I hope Jerry or who ever it is, continues to draft O-line with high picks. They still need to upgrade the guard position with quality young talent.

Honestly if people's only criteria for not liking Escobar is that we are 0-2 on 2nd round TEs then ill take it. He's on the team. Lets stop complaining about where the guy was drafted....

To be honest, both Fasano and Bennett weren't misses. Both players, after leaving here became starters in the league

Bennett not ever getting going here in Dallas probably cost John Garrett his job.

Marty B is a heck of a TE. Complete player.

I don't think Marty B cost him his job because what stopped him from being a dynamic player in this offense, were the same issues that we knew about, maturity. The stuff that you can teach, like blocking, he was great at. John Garrett left, because Jason was on the hot seat, and at the time it seemed Tampa offered more stability.

I am just glad Romo took advantage of it. Over the past few seasons we let the clock wind down so the defense could get lined up in a scenario like that one.

He blew a couple of stunts in KC but other than that he has looked pretty good.

If you look at the overall body of work even with the plays Poe got the best of him, he is consistent. How many times did the pocket collapse from the interior last year? Look at poor Big Ben without his all pro center. Fred is exactly what we needed.

I've been pretty happy thus far. It's still too early to know anything for certain but to this point I'm pleased. he seems to be learning quickly and improving.

3 games of 16 is 18.75%. That's a decent sample size, political polls call what, 0.00001%?

OK, I'm calling this discussion now. Political Polls are what you are basing this off of?

3 games is nothing. The 1st three games, Rodgers was a forgotten man, sitting on the bench in Green Bay. Now, he's the best QB in the NFL, according to some.

After 3 games, Julies Jones was the second coming of Emmitt, You know the rest.

3 games is not nearly enough.

I like Frederick, Escobar at 2 was a waste to me, I'd like to be wrong but three number 2's at TE nd two of them are on other teams isn't good. Don't know who else was available there but I think they could have gone a different direction.

I was initially against the Escobar pick. But after seeing how good he is for our redzone offense, I'm totally on board with it. This guy will be a redzone beast. He makes us a better team.

Haha, I love how people would rather downplay the a player's great play than be proven "wrong." Also, can we please stop using the second sentence without explaining WHO you would have drafted? Escobar has looked really solid -- his blocking has improved every week, he catches everything, and his TD was NOT based on blown coverage but rather Escobar running a perfect route.

Please, buy a dog, name it clue and then you'll have one.
Larry Warford......yes, the interior of the line looks good now BUT Waters is a fill in and Larry is starting for I believe the Lions...from day one
He hasn't looked good at all for a second round pick. He can't block, and that is what is required out of your 2nd TE.
It wasn't a blown coverage......WOW this is getting good
He catches everything out of bounds......we left 4 on the board cause he couldn't get his foot down in the endzone

I just tell it like it is, and some people try to sugar coat anything......don't get me wrong, I am happy he scored and will route for him and hope he becomes a great player for us but I will never and have never jumped on a bandwagon like some after one BLOWN COVERAGE.

He's looked fine. We only drafted him 6 months ago for Pete's sake and we know how camp got started for him. And that blocking thingy, we did not draft him for that and everyone knows it.

No offense, but if you were a Cowboys fan, you would know that Warford wasn't on our board.

Oh, and stop with the "can't block" nonsense because it makes you sound foolish. His blocking has improved dramatically since the preseason.

Jason Witten had less than 350 yards and only one TD his rookie season, and if Escobar continues to improve he will easily eclipse those numbers, so to say he hasn't "looked good" for a second round pick shows your ignorance. Until the day you cease being a constant, unthinking, and unoriginal contrarian, your opinion cannot be taken seriously.

Was Witherspoon late getting over, yes. Was it a blown coverage. Heck no. He was actually with him for a couple steps at the 15. The problem was Witherspoon kept looking back at home two times and lost Escobar as Escobar bent his route slightly to the corner.

How is that dog named clue working out for you? But hey this is CZ, never let facts and a good rant get in the way of your agenda.
