Twitter: Throwback video of Myles Garrett begging Cowboys to draft him

Tell him we'll also trade for Mason Rudolph and he can hit him in the head with a helmet whenever he feels like it. And Jerry too while we're at it.

If they were the same age, yes. They’re not.
4-5 years age difference but both are getting similar contracts.
Now, you can argue Garrett has 3-4 good years left in the tank, and Parsons's body could wear down in 3-4 four years if he continues getting the beating he has taken so far. In other words......they BOTH rate likely getting 3-4-year contracts, which could very well be their last big deal(s).

The Commanders don't have the EDGE DQ and Joe Whitt, Jr. want to go with their pro bowl DTs. They have cap space and a pick low in the 1st round this season. They could afford to make it happen knowing that even if they give up another 1st (2026) it will likely be low in the 1st that year as well.

Can you imagine if they pull off this trade and sign Tee Higgins on the 1st day of FA? Man!

you really know how to depress people

If I was the GM of the commodes, I would be looking at this real hard. Having Garrett could make their defense elite if they pickup a couple more pieces

Lol...not my intention gtb.

It just makes a ton of sense for them based on needs they currently have.

You do seem super eager to get rid of Parsons. You bring it up more than anyone else

Serious question
Would you trade Parsons for Garrett ...straight up

Absolutely not.

Parsons is younger.

Parsons could net us high draft picks instead of an aging player, too.

Wanna have a great defense? Keep Parsons and acquire Garrett. Two premier pass rushers.

These fans so obsessed with trading away our best defensive player absolutely boggle my mind.

Ha yeah I remember him saying all that.

Would be fun to watch him and Parsons on the same defense though (with a lead of course) but once Stephen looks up who Garrett is on Wikipedia and sees his salary, it’ll be dismissed immediately.
Cut to Stephen typing "Is Miles Garrett related to Jason Garrett?" into google.

Is that how you read it? You are wrong......I'm a huge fan but I want what's best for the Cowboys. So far, I'm not convinced we/Jerry knows how to translate his generational talent to getting us closer to a Super Bowl. He has three defensive coordinators in 4 years. I hate to say it so far, but his talent, like many before him, is wasted, and that's what you see with me. My issue with him is no fault of his at all...........it's the culture and environment.

The 2017 draft was not a good one for the Cowboys and was a big reason they didn’t build off the 2016 season. It appeared they were on the cusp of becoming a great team and it didn’t happen. Our lack of activity in free agency makes it critical we have a solid draft.
