Is that how you read it? You are wrong......I'm a huge fan but I want what's best for the Cowboys. So far, I'm not convinced we/Jerry knows how to translate his generational talent to getting us closer to a Super Bowl. He has three defensive coordinators in 4 years. I hate to say it so far, but his talent, like many before him, is wasted, and that's what you see with me. My issue with him is no fault of his at all...........it's the culture and environment.
I mean you bring it up more than anyone else. If you were that big a fan, you wouldnt want him gone

I don't see how we afford his contract with Micah's contract coming up this off season, and Dak set to count 90M against the cap. We would have to send Micah to Cleveland, and I still think they would owe us a draft pick or 2 b/c of the age discrepancy.

Serious question
Would you trade Parsons for Garrett ...straight up
No. Parsons should be in his prime while Garrett is getting closer to the downhill portion of his career. Would love to have both, but no way I'd trade the younger premium pass rusher straight up for the older one. Now, for Parsons for Garrett and a third-round pick? I'd have to consider that. Remember that age and wear and tear are important factors to consider when gauging value.

+1 .....but TWO defensive players making $35M + would be hard.
I’m sure it would.

Problem is this team needs to have an elite [insert something] to succeed.

Our QB isn't winning the game with his arm, and the new HC is … we’ll see.

So most people think this team needs a dominant running game to win games. I think that’s true. That’s why a lot of talking heads have us taking Jeanty.

But a dominant running game, with Parsons and Garrett coming off the edge on defense? Now we’re talking.

I'm with you there .....100%
I think this is why many posters wanna draft the highest-graded DT or DE behind Graham and Carter. He needs another playmaker on D with him.....remember DWare, as good as he was, didn't get his Super Bowl until he played with Vonn Miller. In fact, Carter is going top 5, but there's a chance Graham could drop a bit. IF he drops to, say 10.......I would trade up for him.

...get rid of Dlaw and Mazi, sign Garrett. Osa, Freeland, and Garrett. Sounds like serious foes.

Then Parsons, Overshown *hoping* as libby's.

Why do people do this? There's almost zero chance of him being traded to the Cowboys, yet there's a 4/1 odd here

Zero chance he lands in Dallas!

If the Cowboys have one good player at a position with multiple starters, they don't attempt to have two. See WR and CeeDee. Why would they double down like the Eagles did with Brown and Smith?

Micah plus Garrett would never be something they entertain.
