I don't think DeMarco was threatened by Randle. I think that he seemed to be the most "serious" and disciplined of the leaders. Like, he struck me as a military type, or maybe it stemmed from his martial arts training. Very little patience with knucklehead types.

I think this is very likely the case, too.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I think Randle is going to have a great season. Very excited to see what his speed can do behind this line.

My concern is more about how will he handle his body getting beat up week in and week out. Julius, Marion, and Felix didn't seem to handle that very well. And they may be a next year kind of issue.

And Demarco is going to let a lot of you down.

Stalker alert!

Do you really trust Randle? I do not. I worry about is immaturity, lack of blitz pick up, etc. Murray priced himself out of here, I get it and he will be about a 1200 yard back in Philly.

He's right. His body was abused last year. He will miss some more games this year.

It appears that Randle is the primary reason the team was content to let Murray leave.

Eh, I don't buy that.

They may love Randle but Murray was gone regardless unless he fell into where the Cowboys felt comfortable paying.

Having Randle may have meant more for a player like Gurley, Gordon, or Yeldon not being here.

Then I'll be wrong. He is not the leader that Murray was. Randle is immature and makes bad decisions. I don't trust him.

A lot of people feel the way you do. I do too, to an extent. I think Joseph sees the opportunity right in front of him. All he has to do is grab the brass ring and not let go. Perhaps easier said than done. I think he'll seize this opportunity.

I don't think expectations are all that high. He's a good running back within a committee of backs.

McFadden is the one that is probably going to go kerplunk.

McFadden has already gone kerplunk a couple two tree times already.

So your definition of a leader is someone who overestimates his worth and bails on his team for their enemy?

This "tidbit" sounds odd in general. I'm surprised people haven't asked the OP for more info or who said this...

I agree. it seems like an unlikely sort of detail to get leaked to the media. Either Garrett, or one of the team leaders presumably would have leaked it, right? They're not likely to have that conversation with a temp or a ball boy in the room.

I remember back when all this happened that Spags was saying that Garrett did talk to the team leaders on Randle. But that was after the video had leaked and Dez & I believe Witten I believe had some choice words with him.

All I know is Demarco better be careful. If he plays too well, Chippy will trade him for a ham sammich.

Uh oh... the OTA's and mini-camps must have gone too well for Murray:

"Report: Ex-Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray says he was unaware why he was left out of first Eagles practice"

Link: http://cowboysblog.***BANNED-URL***...e-was-left-out-of-first-eagles-practice.html/

He will be traded to Oakland in no time.
