Ouch...
You called me a liar :p:

So now I had to go get your posts and list them below. Thanks for calling me out. I found a THIRD comment from you.

Your post #67 in this thread.... then clearly he wasn't the same kind of "cancer" as TO.

Your post #69........... and if Tiki's actions didn't result in that then he WAS less of a cancer.

Forgot this one

Your post #74

This isn't about Tiki being an angel, it's about in his time as a player he was not the constant cancer or the severe cancer TO has been.

So... again... I ask.... benign or malignant?

Dont call me a liar unless I lie. Thank you.;)

I think you can compare them, no question.

You also have to take into account that Tiki is LIKED by the media. The things he does aren't nearly as blown out of proportion as the things TO does.

Do you think Tiki would have drawn as much scrutiny had it been his hammy last training camp and he had been riding the stationary bike?

So if you admit that Tiki gets a "fairer shake" from the media, then you have to take that into account when comparing the two. Tiki doesn't draw the scrutiny. Maybe Tiki has done similar things that haven't been as publicized in the media. That doesn't mean that what he did wasn't harmful to the team.

And then you get NYG players who know that Tiki is liked by the media who are less apt to confront him through the media... as opposed to what Donovan McNabb did. Donovan is liked by the media. You see what happened to TO when he had a beef with Donovan. I'm sure some Giants players would love to go after Tiki, but don't for this reason.

You have to take all of these into account. But I think you can compare the situations for this reason... Tiki's situation is probably more severe than reported, because he is liked, and TO's was probably less severe than reported because he's not liked.

You are missing the point.

If Tiki's comments are less abrasive and if Tiki deals with the media and the team in a manner that causes less of a stir, then HE IS LESS OF A CANCER.

And even so - do you really think even his actions as a player were worse than TO's?

Come on - he wasn't calling press conferences just so he could call teammates losers and without heart. Did Tiki do anything to his fellow players that compared to that in his playing days?

Or did he scream at players and coaches on the sideline?

Come on.

BTW - the reason TO got the flak for the exercise bike was because of his past history. Without the past history he would have been fine with the media .... just as Tiki would have been.

But here is something that you may want to think about:

San Francisco cut ties with TO - they didn't want him - they chose to no longer tolerate his antics - they decided he was more trouble than he was worth, so despite his talent they just waived goodbye.

Same thing with Philly - that's two teams that decided TO was too much of a cancer to keep, despite his physical talents.

On the other hand, the Giants NEVER thought that way about Tiki, and Tiki would have been welcome to play many more years in Nwe York ..........

So who's the bigger cancer ......... ?

Cancer is still cancer. It's a pain in the butt to deal with for the individuals who have it and have to deal with it, no matter if it's terminal or if it's treatable.

For T.O., it kinda depends on the day, but I'd say he's in remission.

Talk about agressive agenda.

I now know where you are coming from - you have a bad case of TO love.

I noticed you started another thread about how we should tie TO down with a contract extension, and totally ignore his age and other factors as reasons to be cautious.

I'm not "missing the point" at all. I'm saying you CAN COMPARE the two. You can argue till you're blue in the face about who's been the bigger cancer... I already told you Tiki hasn't pulled a TO.... yet.

But right now, at this moment, if you want to get literal.... TO is less of a cancer than Tiki. To use YoMick's analogy... TO is at least in remission at this point.

You are missing the point.

I wasn't discussing TO's current behavior - I was only discussing TO's past behavior as compared with Tiki's past behavior.

You are trying to argue with me about points that I'm not even talking about.

I will readily agree that at the moment Tiki is a bigger issue than TO.

All I have said is that both this, and Tiki's behavior as a player, is minor compared to TO's past, and that it's nuts to say that Tiki is a bigger cancer than TO ever was ....... or is capable of being.

Tiki has never been more than a minor distraction in his past that his teammates never even took much notice of, whereas TO has intentionally trashed his teammates, team and coaches MULTIPLE TIMES and has been shown the door with two teams.
