Funny, Tim Brown played in 12 playoff games

Which proves that the only thing that Tim Brown knows about is failure and false hopes...

Of course, the flip side of this is that a player who never won anything may recognize what team looks like that will never win anything.

The above is not a shot at Dallas by me, it is just a knock at some of the logic going on.

Analysis predicting either side of the ledger for 2008 is pretty much pointless. I would give this about as much credence as I would 13-3 or 6-10.

But it give us something else to talk about.

That doesn't mean we are doomed. Jerry taking the reins of this football team means we are doomed.

We may not be average next year but we are headed in that direction.
I sure hate to say this but that is what most of you are hoping is that Jerry "destroys" the football team just to say "I told you so".

Some people just can't stand to be wrong.

Can a prediction(a guess) be logical?

Besides Tim Brown is hating. Never won squat... Cowboys didnt want him = hating.

Well, that sucks. See you guys in '09.

But seriously, I consider Houck an upgrade over Sparano (in terms of coaching the O-line). And Wade's the one that taught the others how to coach his defense. Can't see how that would be much of a loss as long as Wade is retained.

I consider Houck a very good OL coach. As good as Sparano and can't argue with someone saying better. None of us ever got coached by either. But losing Sparano could hurt the offensive game preparation and play calling. Hopefully Garrett doesn't need him anymore.

It would probably take losing several key players for us to win less than 9-10 games next year. Losing Romo would probably do it. Without a healthy TO we may struggle enough to lose some games.

I do get that vibe from a few posters here.

Sorry but we have to good of a quarterback to just fall of the face of the NFC.

Theyll change their tune real quick next year.

Every single one of the jerks were right and our team blew it.
yep and until we prove them wrong they'll keep sending their negative vibes our way. i totally disagree with brown BTW, me thinks romo will have the exp now to put the whole season together. our defense should be improved specially along the D-line. And with one addition of an impact player on offense we can be scary next year.

I am just saying if anyone says something not glowing about Dallas they immediately become fools, haters, incompetent, dirtbags or worse.

I mean Troy Aikman is labeled a hater around here by many. It gets old IMO.

So now you are "just saying"... before you were "knocking logic"... make up your mind :p:

If you read my earlier post or other posts... I have no prob with being critical with this team. Last 3 recent playoff appearances resulted in one and done. They need to show us something.

With that said. Brown is going on hate... we clearly have a good team that despite losing in playoffs again... has made MAJOR strides in the last 3 seasons.

Call it both.:)

I am not sure TB is hating, maybe he is maybe he is not.

I bet you if someone (media) would have said Chicago, Cinncinnatti, and New Orleans would implode this year their fans would have been calling that person a hater as well.

In this era of the NFL there are very few givens.

I would be shocked if we didnt go atleast 10-6 next year with a playoff spot. Completely shocked.

I don't know that I would call it "hate" either, whatever that constitutes. So many things go into this. As you say, so many are shocked each season.

So, so many.

It's almost impossible to know how these things shake out. Especially from January of the previous season.

Insert Wade Phillips' name in place of Tim Brown's in the quip above and one could argue that the sentence is still true.
