sacks are an overrated stat.

I would prefer to look at how many times the OL was beaten and allowed the QB to get hit...

An OL might not give up many sacks, but that doesn't mean they keep the QB clean. Conversely, an OL might give up sacks, but other than that, the QB is untouched.

Just because our coaching staff MAY mean something like this (didn't wade call Proctor the best lineman we had in one game) does not make it anything more then he can back up the Hotel for a while.

Until he shows the stuff in REAL games vs REAL players its all chin music.

I'm skeptical of Free too, but the guy has never gotten a real chance to show anything. They should've at least given him a series with the first team. If he didn't look good, then by all means relegate him back. And no I don't want to hear about how he could've gotten Romo hurt. If Flozell Adams gets hurt, he's going to have to play anyway. Would you rather find out that he can't play then or now?

There are maybe 4 LT in the whole league that can do that. Its a pretty dumb expectation. You cannot tell me that Tuinei didn't get help against Smith and White.

This is so true. I am not against being critical of a player, as I have participated in a few, i.e. Barbie Carpenter. However, the inability to acknowledge that a player is improving when they have demonstrated improvement is like pulling teeth from the quasi cowboy fan. It is to the point that they seem like they enjoy rooting against a player more than they like rooting for the cowboys.
