The way I see it is to focus on the micro. Let's beat GB first. The championship game is not promised because fans are tired of waiting. We gotta make the divisional round AGAIN first before the championship game.

I didn’t say accept or be happy losing in Champ Game. My message is it would represent some progress finally knocking that monkey off our back and ending that particular narrative.

I definitely like our chances advancing playing at home. And I agree with your premise . But Detroit would have some extra incentive after controversial ending.

It might stave of some you are correct

Being one of 3 teams in NFC ( Detroit and Wash) that haven’t appeared in Champ game since 1995 has been one of the biggest negative narratives against our franchise this era.

It also would reduce the trolling against our QB who then could argue only Cowboys QB to take us to at least a Champ Game this era.

It won’t end all of the trolling and negative narratives but it will some while providing more ammo in rebuttals.
