It’s not about being happy it’s about finally putting to rest the monkey on this franchise’s back not to mention all of the negative narratives that we haven’t reached a champ game in 3 decades.

No one is expecting nor predicting us to win at SF in Champ Game.

Going to or winning Super Bowls will always be the Bar for this franchise.

But when the storyline for almost 3 decades has been not even making to a Champ Game then that becomes the first monkey to knock off your back. And provides something to build on.

If you can’t appreciate some progress without being totally happy , then I can’t help you.

Yep, that's what they are selling (Like the P/O) but we ain't buying it.
We lose to SF a 3rd time in the playoffs this season will be remembered as another Dog Day afternoon.

The Cowboys met their initial goal of winning the division. Even if we can thank the Egirls for a total collapse down the stretch and one of the most idiotic coaching decisions attempting 2 point conversions .

In the end we had to win 12 games and we did it for a franchise record 3 consecutive seasons . With that we are rewarded at least 2 ( if necessary)playoff games at home .

I think most would agree this seasons success pends on finally reaching our first championship game appearance since 1995 season. Anything short of that especially playing at home will be considered another disappointing and frustrating ending.

We will be favored and expected to hold home court regardless who our opponents are . We are undefeated at home this season and have longest current home winning streak in NFL.

It’s finally time for this team to meet their expectations playing their best ball on the biggest stages ending an almost 3 decade narrative of no championship game appearances .

I’ve used the narrative as well bashing our ownership and leadership this era as many of our fans have.

It’s a door we’ve been trying to kick down for a generation.

It’s not fulfilling the ultimate goals of reaching and winning a SB but it does eliminate one monkey.
